Absolutely outstanding burgers. Fresh and great meat patties. 3 stars is for the $26 loaded fries that are covered in COLD cheese sauce. If you advertised them as having cold sauce you wouldnt sell one. Asked to have them heated and was advised we dont warm our cheese sauce, it is cold. It just ruins the hot chips and amazing hot beef brisket which now both taste 20 mins old. I’ll be back for the burgers though

This is a top quality Butcher offering some of the best quality meats from raw cuts to pre-marinated or ready to cook options. But their burger bar is top-notch, excellent quality food on offer burger wise and their brisket is always so tender and juicy and full of flavour. They also have a large selection of BBQ rubs, sauces, and other sauces and condiments as well. Friendly staff are happy to help, mostly younger staff members, all with well-mannered pleasant attitudes.

Amazing butcher we purchased steaks and the quality was superior.
Their burger bar is a hidden gem and a fantastic idea by the business owner. We have eaten there a few times now and the food is delicious. You must try this place out you will not be disappointed.

Had a order messed up by the butchery. Was offered a refund on the order. When I called to claim the refund. They said they would not do that and would only offer a price difference. They then went back on that offer and said there's no proof unless they looked on there cameras. Which they will not do because of too much time. I live one street away and was told not to bother to come as they'll fix me up. Supporting the locals and get worst service then if I went to a McDonald's. At least they fix their messed up orders.
(I can see you replied and it was not last week, it was Saturday night around 5 p.m. On the 19th December. I can give you exact the time when I came in. And if you just assume all your customers are thieves and refuse to check your cameras or refund the difference. Then this is actually fraud and theft by providing an incorrect product and refusing to fix. The fact that employee promised to fix this should be upheld. When I clearly said I will come in return the burger and was told to not worry about it just come in a quote your name. You also admit the employee gave wrong information
Bacon or no bacon. Doesnt matter what it was. The order was wrong regardless and should be fixed.disgusting "boss" as you call yourself

The best brisket in town! Smoked and cooked to perfection, my partner, best mate and I go there most weeks for a smoked brisket snackpack. Man, it's so good! You can even buy a steak from the counter and they'll cook it to your liking. Quality service. I buy all of my meat there and as the quality is exactly what I seek - grass fed and organic. Highly recommended.

Purchased T-bone from this butcher at $40 for 2.over priced flavourless beef. This was the 3rd time i have purchased cape grim beef from this butcher and wasn't happy with any of the cuts we had purchased.may as well shopped at coles.will not be returning.

I would love to thank the kind lady that was so accomodating to my elderly Father today took him placed him in a chair out of the heat in the shop. What a wonderful kind gesture.
Southern Cross Butchery never fails to deliver superb meat the staff are so friendly and obliging, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Very awesome! Had the brisket burger which was overflowing with meat. Found myself taking pics of it to send to friends to make them jealous. So delicious!

I have never once regretted my dinner/lunch option when I’ve ordered from the burger bar. Everything on the menu is fantastic. Huge portions (honestly, when will I learn) amazing value and great service.
I’ve brought along family and friends and they’ve also become obsessed. It’s our take out option of choice. Price/timing/quality. I literally wouldn’t choose anything over these burgers. Wish they were open more nights of the week.

Fantastic butchers, we are so lucky to have in Highland Park. Great range of quality cuts, and the best sausages I have found. So many not sauces to buy. Also great to stop in for a brekkie bun on the weekends.

Had the brisket chip snack pack - delicious! Meat was sooo tender and huge serve. Everything looked very tasty on the butcher side will definitely be back.

Everyone knows someone who is "the best", but Alf & the whole Team at Southern Cross Butchery really are THE BEST! Nothing is ever a hassle, they prep meat to your order & preferences, the meat is OUTSTANDING, and the Burger Bar! Wow is all that can be said there. Do yourself a massive favour and head to Highland Park to check them out. Best on the Gold Coast by far!

Wow randomly come across this place with my mates today. The food was amazing flavory and delicious. Really nice people that work there and will definitely be making the drive there for an awesome feed.
