Highly Recommend Blair and Sound Station to anyone that wants expert advice and premium products to suit all applications/ needs.
I purchased a Blue Sound Speaker for a birthday present for my wife. It blows our minds with the quality and depth of the sound through a small speaker! If your thinking about buying one of these speakers, do not hesitate at all. You will not be disappointed.
Will be buying more products off Sound Station in the future!
Don't shop anywhere else until you talk to Blair and experience the Sound Lounge.

Blair provided great service for our sound system set up, he explained things well and so that I understood how to get the best out of system.

I purchased some Bowers & Wilkins headphones from Blair then usen them on a long haul flight from Sydney to L. A. They were fantastic at noise cancelling. Also I experienced very little Jet Lag and believe these headphones were the tool that helped me.

I found it very refreshing to meet Blair and get an old fashioned thing called 'service'! Blair met all my needs in giving great, honest advice and guidance in supplying a new system that met my needs (vinyls, cds and Bluetooth) - being an 'old rocker' and struggling with technology all the hassle was removed, he even came to my home and set up the system! I blew my budget but so grateful of the quality components Blair supplied - a great sounding result that will see me out!

I own what I would call a modest HiFi system. A pair of DynAudio Audience 42 bookshelf speakers, driven by an Alchemist Maxim APD30A 47 Watt/ch RMS (into the Dyns 4 Ohm impedance) solid state integrated Amplifier. The front end is a Pro-Ject RPM3 carbon turntable fitted with its default Ortofon 2M Silver mm cartridge. All three of these items are considered by their respective manufacturers to be “entry level” products. I recently purchased the RPM3 from Sound Station not too long ago and was looking to tweak its performance, mainly by acoustically isolating it from room vibrations and Sound Station had just the right solution for me.

I made arrangements with Blair McCosker at Sound Station to audition a Les Davis Audio turntable mat and brought in a couple of LPs to listen to with and without the mat. I will add that this mat is made using Les Davis’ viscoelestic constrained layer technology, and for a turntable mat it is not cheap. I wanted to be sure before I parted with my hard earned so I arranged an audition with a couple of LPs that I brought in.

I was not disappointed. Playing a vinyl LP on his demonstration system (Turntable using the Ortofon 2M Red mm cartridge — very similar to the Silver), the Les Davis mat literally brought the albums I brought to life. It was like looking at the world through a keyhole and then through a picture window. That turntable mat gave the music a third dimension. The sound stage was presented with air and space around the instruments and voices, with depth as well as height and width.

So I went home with the Les Davis mat and a set of Viscoelastic constrained layer damping discs to go under the feet of my turntable, its drive motor and the amplifier. This setup brought the DynAudio loudspeakers to life and I’d say brought out the best from the amplifier and allowed the Silver cartridge to do its job properly. I consider this money and time well spent and enjoyed another very pleasant (and musical) hour spent at Sound Station in Toowoomba.

If you haven't already been down and met Blair at the sound lounge, it is a must. What a wonderful service he is running. Blair came to our home and gave us an honest opinion of what we needed in our home to get the affect we were after. All the products are high quality and the service was above and beyond. I recently upgraded my stereo system and couldn't be happier with the results - only wish I'd done it earlier.
After a lot of phoning around and discussing my needs with various retailers, I visited Sound Station.
I found the owner/operator Blair to be very professional and a wealth of knowledge in audio equipment. He was patient and listened to what I was requiring, and had a great technique of narrowing down my options. There was no hard/pushy sell, just genuine interest in meeting my needs.
Before going ahead with the purchase I continued to shop around, but when back to Sound Station for the best value for money and quality. Thank you Blair, I will highly recommend you to my friends.

Excellent service from go to woah. I started by looking for a drive belt for a 40 year old turntable (the company went out of business decades ago) and Blair sourced one for me within a day! But alas, it turned out the motor had also died, so I was up for a new turntable. What followed was a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable hour and a half in Sound Station's listening room. We listened and talked and i ended up buying (for a quite good price) a Pro-Ject rpm 3 carbon turntable. Good buy! And great addition to my own hifi. Many thanks to Blair for his attention to my needs (and budget). I'm thinking of an accessory or two that might just enhance my listening enjoyment at home and Sound Station will be my first port of call.

I have know Blair since 1997 when he headed up Brashs in Toowoomba - I have found Blair's Knowledge, Service and After Service to be excellent! I would recommend anyone in the Toowoomba Region or beyond to conatct Blair at Sound Station for all your Hi-Fi & AV needs. His prices are always very competitive however its the service, care & after sales service which is second to none. You simply don't find this level of service when you buy online or in uncaring stores. When you deal with Blair you deal with an owner who invest himself in his customers care and performance of their purchase.
