Smiggle reviews
14There are many colorful and cute things. There are a variety of products such as key rings, lunch boxes, bags, pencil cases, and ballpoint pens, so it's fun to choose. It's perfect for buying a gift for your nephew. On some items, if you buy two, you'll get one half off.
Talk about a kids dream and a parent's sensory overload. It's was too much for me to handle but my son found the perfect school lunchboxes to meet both his and my criteria. A bit pricy but the quality so far seems really good. The staff thankfully let me browse at my own pace, I definitely would have looked as overwhelmed as I feel.
Thanks
The stuff doesn't seem to be friendly to the diverse customers, there is no greeting when entering the store and even at the checkout, the attitude was cold. But to blond hair customer is not the same, I don't want say that word about Dis.
Called them see where about they were located upstairs at Garden City, for them to say we just closed @ 4: 30pm when closing time was 5pm. It was 4: 31pm when I called, I asked the lady I’m upstairs literally was 40sec away and she still said sorry we are closed. Great service.
Having a teen daughter we go here regularly. The range of stationery, backpacks and lunch boxes and drink bottles is extensive and the staff are really friendly and helpful.
Beautiful designs but the prices are ridiculous for children's bags. It's also hard to say no once you're kid has had a look because the prices aren't available on display for everything so you don't find out until you ask someone at the counter then your child has already got their heart set on it. Bit of a mean sales tactic.
My daughter loves this place. The shop always smells good and staff are happy to serve. Range of products are good too.
What ever u do don't take all yre kids here as their so many nice things and very colorful beautiful stuff for eyes to wonder.
At least apologise when your product is faulty. My poor little son who just started Prep couldn't drink any water on the very first day of school because the Smiggle water bottle had faulty. Water didn't come out through the straw and I noticed when I picked up my son from school. (apparently there wasn't a hole on the lid)
Because it's a gift from my friend with no receipt, all they could do for me is exchange it to another product in their store. And because they coudln't even give me a voucher of the value of the product, I had to pay extra to purchase something that I didn't really want.
Yes, I know it's not her fault that the product has a faulty, and yes, I know she was trying to stick to the policy that the company has. But at least be nice and kind when explain, I found that she was quite rude to the customer that came all the way because of their faulty product.
The 2 girls working Thursday 6th December at about 8pm were lovely and very helpful. They need a raise for the trouble they went to
I don't understand why this store has such high reviews. Maybe I only happen to ever come in whenever the same lady is working. She has long dark brown thick hair wears it in a pony tail. I have been in this store 5 times and only once have I ever been greeted and that was by another worker. They also need to be careful last time I visited the store the lady who was working was putting boxes in the back and someone could've easily stolen something as when I walked in there was not one employee present on the shop floor. I also am disappointed because I would actually walk around near the lady (I'm surprised she hasn't actually recognised me since I've been in there many times) and I would never get a hello out of her.i would be a lot happier if they actually acknowledged me. I hate to write a review like this but it needs to be put forward. This store like many other stores in garden city needs to work on their customer service BIG TIME.queen street and carindale smiggle have 100x better service than this store
Very rude staff. Seemed inconvenienced by the kids in the store. Asked for something and was told very abruptly they don’t have it. Will never return. Go to spencil instead.
There is no price label at Smiggle! They lure the poor kids into poor quality but expensive stuff. Their stuff all look pretty but don’t last. It is good to see that they call Australian company but supporting Chinese labour and economy
Smiggle has relocated next to the Shaver Shop in the upper level across from Dusk.
The staff are always friendly and keep the store tidy and neat.
The display of the store looks fantastic with all the new products displayed in the shop window. It looks so bright and colourful.
The store is larger than most Smiggle stores and products are stacked neatly. Walking around the store is fantastic just guessing what I'd like to buy. The service is well and the staff do their job well and communicate and interact with customers quite well. The store may hold more stock than others now that the store has re located and opened from it used to being a kiosk in the centre court across from General Pants Co. The address is now Shop 2062.
