Sleeman Sports Complex

Rock show at best!
My decision to join a gym was between Chandler and this mob. I visited today and to my utter shock was told by the receptionist that they are not taking new members.
I was advised I would have to go on a waiting list.
I looked around to see the gym not overly busy.
I asked the lady how long would this process take. She had no idea.
Safe to say I headed straight back to Chandler and joined up.
Gee business must be good!

Sleeman Sports Complex-Chandler Coplex. / since 1982/Sleeman -Chandler swimming pool is great for swimming, platform diving, scuba diving etc. Clean, warm indoor pool. CLEAN water. Hotel accommondation on site.

Wonderful facilities and an amazing cafe who make the best coffee! New menu, the filos, pies, rolls and pizza are so good! And you can now have a glass of wine or beer while catching up with friends in the shady tropical outdoor setting.

Very large auditorium. Air-conditioning is a bit patchy with some seats very cold. Best to bring a jumper.

Not happy with the weekend 8th/9th October 2022. The food vans that where there did not have much. One had a board up with what they had and they were not selling any o what was on the board. They were selling Bacon and egg burgers, but by 12 Saturday they were not making anymore, I asked for sweet potato hot chips to get cold plain and no food was being made fresh, down stairs could not get the order right and gave my friend a chicken toasted sandwich with bad chicken. The only thing I found eatable was the dough nuts. There was 3 events happening and no good food.

Great facilities but starting the get a little dated. No doubt they will be updated for the 2032 Olympics.

Me and my husband visit Sleeman Sports Complex for Dr. Satinder Sartaj’s (one of the famous singer) Live Concert. We enjoyed a lot there.
Only One thing was not good that chairs are not comfortable, they have spacious space in between.

Went to watch a show at the theater. Very nice venue for concerts. However, depending on the concert and parking strategies put in place, parking can be a painful experience.

I have been here many times and its alway fun to go.too bad I live far away now to go.oh and I was here for my first colour run in 2016 ah so many good memories

This is a large sports complex that houses a swimming pool, a velodrome, a weightlifting club and other areas for gymnastics etc.
Many National and International Sporting events are held here.

They cancelled our booking literally 2hrs before the time saying that there was a booking clash.

My grandson twisted his ankle while playing basketball. The duty official was able to place a ice bag on his ankle. From then onwards he had to hobble out of the basketball court on one leg and he also had to try an navigate through the crowd while climbing the stairs. There was absolutely no help given to us, and to get to my vehicle proved difficult too as there was no easy access. The whole ordeal was distressing for my grandson. No assistance from anyone to help him up the stairs. Very sad Chandler sports complex.

Awesome sports complex. I find the only downside for me is getting there by public transport coming from the Gold Coast. Love the facilities. 2032 will bring some Olympic games to the venue.

Some better healthier food options would be better, as the venue is a sport complex. And the kids don't always feel like eating Dagwood Dogs and greasy chips.

World class right in our backyard and still open to public for general training sessions how lucky are we?

Great venue, with all mod-cons in beautiful grounds. Lots of parking available and easy to get to.

Such a great venue with a load of amenities on offer. This is my work place and love coming here every time with the friendly and welcoming staff.

Clean facilities. Wheelchair friendly. Ramp access to 25m pool warm temperature. Lifeguards on duty

Indoor heated pool 25 metres as well as big main pool and outdoor pool. Kids pools. Everything clean. Lifeguards on duty. Hot showers. Plenty of parking. Great place.

Good facilities for participants. Terrible toilets (outside, away from Arena, old brick, full of flies) for guests. You wouldn’t want to be there. Looks very dated in 2021.
