I stumbled across Skate Trader through my skate school and I was not disappointed! Really appreciate the time and effort Alex spent helping me pick and fit an upgraded skate setup. From boots to bearings it was all done online/phone as I live interstate which was even more impressive! The whole process was flawless, the skates fit perfectly and I'm in love with the new setup. Highly recommended! =)

Service was appalling when I went there. I understand I came at a busy period - but I have no issues with waiting. The problem is that the girl that was serving at the skate shop refused to acknowledge me being there at all, giving zero attention. When she finally finished with a customer, I was hoping she’d at least be ready to serve me (waiting 20 minutes at this stage), but she just moved on to other administrative tasks behind her counter. When I finally approached her (I like to give them the space and time to approach me first), she said she was busy and it’ll be at least another 10-15 minute wait, and there will be another customer before myself.

There was no reason why she couldn’t have informed me this earlier - I’d happily wait (already waited 25 minutes at this stage), but instead, I felt ignored.

Another staff knew how long I’ve been waiting and tried to assist. She gave me some quick info to at least get started, and I truly appreciate it as I know it wasn’t her role that day and she was flat out.

But ultimately, terrible service and could easily be remedied with at least some level of communication. To reiterate - she was essentially ignoring me.

Crystal is so helpful every time we visit and she made sure all my sons ice hockey equipment fit perfectly, very knowledgeable and always happy to answer questions. Very reasonably priced and nice and close to home, always a pleasure visiting, even if its just for stick tape, always get a warm welcome.

Sam is amazing, she knows her trade. If you ring and get told they are only open during session times.if you are doing a boot fitting ask to talk to Sam. Ps. We were there for figure and ice hockey and yes they are a blade roller rink. Sam knows her stuff.

Very good service. Comparitive options when choosing the right skates. Very happy with the experience.
