Siamsamrarn Thai Restaurant reviews
77Great food and great service. We were there for dinner and we really enjoyed the food and the friendly and efficient service of the staff
Great food but don’t understand why the waitress refused to let the kitchen make a vegan pad Thai, simply saying to me that is not possible. I work in a Thai kitchen and making a vegan pad Thai is quite simple, just change a pad Thai sauce with a vegan one (the one you use for vegan pad see ew for example).
I have to give a 9/10 for their basil chili stir fry, I love a little bit of smoky smell. Sooo good
My girlfriend and I loved the food here. The best iced tea I’ve ever had. The entree share plate is quite nice, plus garlic pepper chicken and coconut curry rice. Great value for money;)
Thai beef salad was just full of chewy gristly beef, just horrible
Panang with prawns had 5 tiny prawns
Sorry guys really bad couldn't finish it.
Yes this was definitely the the place, doesn't matter what cut of beef is used if you can't chew it.
If you are only using 5 prawns to keep your
price low then this needs to be made clear to avoid disappointment.
Loved the food! It was amazing and the steamed fish was perfect! The pad Thai and som tum were delicious and yummy. Service was quick and the different tea drinks were so good. Pricier but well worth it.
Have frequented here a number of times over many years, most recently for a large christening function. Food was flavoursome and generous as usual. Everyone seemed happy and very.very full! Can't complain.
Went here tonight with my partner. We got the banquet option A, it was good value and a lot of delicious food. Would come back again
Siam Samrarn is our favourite local takeaway spot when we can’t be bothered cooking! Their prices are reasonable, their service is warm & friendly & their food is always delicious. Their handy takeaway counter is located on the left hand side of the stairs, below the entrance to “The Markets” parking is very convenient as there is a large car parking area directly outside the restaurant. Several disabled car spaces are provided - right in front of the restaurant. What I do love about Siam Samrarn is the lovely diner atmosphere they have created, outdoor tables with fairy & festoon lights. I’m looking forward to another return visit, but hopefully I can try out their in house dining service as well.
Rubbish. The waitress is with a very proud attitude. She does not understand the English "only". I have to repeat 3 times and explain to her what is "only". How stupid it is. I am not your free English teacher. The food is just so so. I will definitely not go there anymore.
Our favorite Thai in Brisbane. Never crowded and Authentic food made to order. Nothing to much trouble for customers.
Delicately cook
Fresh ingredients
Full of service mind
Traditional Thai atmosphere.
We ordered the Valentine set came with mix tasty entrees, crispy pork stir fried with Kailan, Pad Thai chicken, stream Jasmine rice and highlighted is whole barramundi deep fried top with Thai herb salad such a great dinner ever.
One of my favorite Thai restaurants?
Just amazing.
We came in lastnight and im sure we were a headache to deal with.
None the less. These guys stepped up and accomodated to our needs.
And the food was to die for
Thank you so much x
Ordered uber eats from here and chose the pad thai and vegetarian green curry.
The pad thai was pretty decent according to my friend but I had the vegetarian green curry and was a little disappointed. The meal was basically all sauce and barely any vegetables. The sauce was nice but the terrible proportions really took away from the meal especially since I added a half a cup of my own rice to try make up for it and it was still swimming in sauce after that.
Not sure what dine-in experience is like so cant say anything on the service end.
Food was fresh, service was lacking as was the flavour. It’s a shame they feel the need to use MSG in their meals.
Most of the dishes are very small serves compared with the price charged. Basically, food is a lot over price and not worth the money.
Beautiful ambience. Nice exquisite decor that matches the theme of the restaurant. Good trendy crowd. Good variety of delicious tasty food ranging from entree, main course, dessert and a bar too. Great service. Highly recommended authentic Thai restaurant.
The food is great but the customer service is average. Never have I ever been asked for 50cents per container to take away food. I also have $100 maximum tap option on my phone and the bill came to 110 they were unable to process my mayment in 2 taps. Disappointing especially when we make the 40 minute drive to eat here each time we visit Brisbane.
Thai food that pleases Aussies - not the most authentic but it is delicious. And you really can't beat their lunch special.
