Shapland Swim Schools - Buderim

My twins went to Shapland from 2-4 years. It is a fantastic swim school and I highly recommend it for children. The small classes and quiet environment really helped my girls to settle in. The teachers are fun and create very engaging lessons.

Huge shout out to Shapland Swim School Buderim with Laura and Iain. My kids love their lessons with Evie and Sian, they are the BEST swimming teachers EVER! ️ Great facility, easy on-site parking, could not recommend them highly enough.

Wonderful swim school and teachers. Limited to 3 students per class and only one class in the pool at one time which helps with attention. This really helped my daughter to progress. She has learnt much more than she did in any other previous swim school. Would highly recommend them.

Staff was very rude over the phone and we tried to catch make up lessons so many times there were no make up lessons and force me to pay for the next swimming classes which doesn't make sense to me and they just simply said you are not welcomed any more here and will give you refund. The instructor was very lovely and trying the best, but very upset with the management point of view. They are calling me and threatening me to remove this review.

Absolutely LOVE this swim school and the small, intimate, 3 person classes. My daughter was terrified of getting in the pool after a near death experience and Iain has been able to slowly build her confidence, spend one on one time with her and get her confidently swimming - which is still unbelievable to me! I cannot wait to get my 2 year old to begin swimming with Shapland as well.

My two children have been attending Shaplands Buderim for 5 years and we have had the best experience! Laura and Iain along with the teachers have created a great friendly environment that has allowed my children's confidence to grow and fostered their love of swimming. My son initially started swimming lessons at an aquatic centre and was very intimidated by the noise and busyness, it really impacted his confidence around water, when we moved to shaplands it was so much more personal and he quickly started to love lessons!

Amazing swim school with dedicated and skillful swim coaches. Small group classes make learning so much easier. My child excelled in her swimming abilities there and always looked forward to her next lesson. The owners Laura & Iian don’t make you feel like just a client, you are a friend, and Iian makes the lesson fun for the kids with his quirky humor! Great Job guys! Highly recommend!

My kids love having their lessons at Shapland! The teachers are great and even my anxious child really settled and thrives there.

We moved out son to Shapland Buderim with the appeal of small class sizes. Along with their experienced swimming instructors and amazing indoor magnesium pool, our sons skill set has gone from strength to strength. He is a confident and capable swimmer and I believe that the combination of the above attributes of this swim school have allowed our son to be just that. If you are thinking of giving them a try; I suggest you do. You will not be disappointed.

We have had a lovely friendly experience here. Our child's swimming and confidence has grown with each lesson and we are very happy with the service the teachers and owners of the business.

What a fantastic swim school!
My daughter joined Iian’s class at 7 years old after being at other swim schools since a baby. She had previously been in classes where Instructed to swim from a to b and she managed ok but was still struggling to stay afloat and wasn’t really receiving the necessary help to improve.

From her first class Iian offered her the much needed refinements of her swimming technique and improved her ability significantly. Within 3 weeks she was swimming so much better. Who would’ve known such a simple adjustment like “keep your head down and don’t look up” could make such a difference, and had been overlooked by so many teachers prior! She now has a beautiful smooth freestyle technique and has also been taught the other strokes as well. She even learnt tumble turns last week!

Wonderful service! Bright happy friendly staff. Exceptional change room facilities with heat lamps and warm showers and they’re private!

A very quiet and peaceful pool with only ever 3 Kids in the pool at a time makes it so much easier for kids to hear instruction and learn. (Some of our previous swim schools had 3 classes in the same size pool - 2 classes of 4 kids and 1 classes of 6 babies and 6 adults.plus 3 teachers giving instruction - needless to say, it was so noisy!)

Our son has been attending Shapland Swim School in Buderim for the last 10 weeks. His progress has been amazing to watch! I love the way Iain teaches the kids, it is unique and somewhat quirky yet fun and extremely effective! I also love the small sized classes where Iain is amazing at matching each child for their individual needs. I highly recommend this swim school.:)

This is the best swim school we have been to hands down the facilities for babies and small children are second to none (they even have heat lamps over the change table so your little one stays warm when they get out of the pool). Jane is a fabulous swim instructor, she is patient, firm and builds your confidence as a parent. Laura has been nothing but helpful and curtious. Thank you so much guys, you do a great job and you should be proud!

We have been going to Shapland Buderim for the past 3yrs & love it! Laura is always so welcoming & the teachers are all so great at bringing out the best in our daughters.knowing when to push them & when to allow them just to have fun. We would definitely recommend this swim school to anyone wanting their children to gain confidence with their swimming & have fun while doing it!

Previously we had Jane and she was lovely too. Three kids per class, awesome.

My 11 year old son had to have his swimming and floating ability evaluated to join Nippers. Chris saw us at 6.30 am, before his regular classes and conducted this assessment. He was helpful, supportive and patient with my son and offered him practical advice when swimming in the ocean.

An amazing swim school. Nothing but great experiences. My kids have become so confident and safe in the water. One even won a few ribbons at his first swim carnival recently. Highly recommended.

Incredible swim school! Our family have enjoyed the semi private (1 teacher to 3 students) lessons. We have found these very beneficial for my child’s learning. A special mention to Lachy for being an outstanding teacher and going that extra mile.

Excellent swim school with brilliant service and teachers. I know many families that have been through the shapland system and are always astounded by the skills that their children acquire.
