Great swim school love the instructors and being a heated purpose built pool with mineral water is a big Plus

It was my sons very first time at a swim school. He was upset at the start, but swimming instructor gave me tips to calm him down. It is a very relaxing environment and there is no rush to get the activities over and done with. I highly recommend this swim school and i like that you can cancel a lesson and make up for one later on.

Could not recommend Shapland Warner any higher. We have tried other swim schools which had larger classes and no regular teacher and they did not work for our oldest daughter. I was desperate for her to learn to swim and pool safety from a young age after having a close friends friend drown in a backyard pool, but I eventually gave up because she hated going even after 6 months+ of weekly lessons. When we revisited the idea of swim school with our twins we were referred to Shapland and I was hesitant, but I am so so so glad we found them! There were a few tears the first few classes but now my kids look forward to swimming and even pretend to be their (absolutely incredible!) teacher Benita at home, practicing together. They love coming! Shapland are accommodating and friendly and I would recommend anyone looking at a swim school to come here! Small classes and wonderful teachers. A life skill that is valuable and taught in a great environment!

Our son enjoys his lessons and gets plenty of time with his teacher in the small class. Would definitely recommend. The instructors are very confident and know how to keep the kids on task to get the best out of their lessons.

We have been going to Shapland's for at least 5 years and they have been amazing! Before we went to Shapland's, we were at another swim school and our son would start crying as soon as he saw the carpark. After a couple of lessons at Shapland's, he loved the water and we were able to watch him swim instead of being in the pool with him. Now every week both our children as so excited to go swimming and are literally jumping up and down and fist pumping!
All the teachers that we have had are incredible but Benita and Terri are the two teachers we have had the most contact with over the years and are true superstars!

We have attended Shaplands Warner for over 2 years. After moving from another local school my childs confidence has thrived at Shaplands Warner. The teachers are consistent, they know their students and take the time to teach to the actual child rather than just following a program. Shaplands Warner always has small class sizes and have been the perfect fit for us. Miss Terri is a highlight of our week.

I've been taking my children to Shapland Swim School at Warner for 8 years now and it's definitely a highlight of the week for my children. I've always enjoyed watching the teachers work and how they alter their lessons for each child in the class (easier with only 3 students in a class) and how progression builds over the years. My children are both confident in water and enjoy different water experiences - Shapland Swim School is helping them become life-long swimmers

My daughter has come forward in leaps and bounds, in a matter of 4 weeks, with her confidence in the water and her ability to swim under the water. Ivy knows how to float and in doing so, feels more confident, then when she was learning at a general swimming pool. Too much stimulation from other people there.

Having been a swimming instructor for my entire adult life, I was particularly picky about where I chose to enrol my kids. I was terrified that no one would teach my kids in a way that would make me happy. I’ve worked across big pools with lots of lessons on at once and smaller pools such as Shaplands, and I knew exactly what I was looking for. We have been attending Shaplands for 6 years.

Shaplands compliments my parenting style - child led, allowing the children to explore their environment at their own pace. There’s no old school tricks to progress, force or rush kids here, the program is simple, and reflects a strong consideration of what children are capable of alongside their individual developmental milestones.

Children are respected as individuals, and treated with kindness and care while they are guided through their lesson. The transition between baby classes to them entering the water on their own is seamless because the instructors have worked hard on building trust with each child.

We appreciate the smaller classes, and we especially love Terri, Benita and Sue.

With your babies, you’re guaranteed to be offered not only the task to perform, but the reasons and benefits BEHIND each task, and this is where the value is and why it's worth the little bit more than other venues. The instructors actually know what they're talking about, and they care about informing you. The baby classes are structured around building the trust and bond with your baby so you can both enjoy the water safely but the addition of sharing bite sized knowledge bits in each lesson makes parents feel so much more confident.

The make up lesson set up is perfect - you never really loose your make up lessons, and the team are 100% accommodating if you have any last min changes.

I have and will 100% recommend any Shaplands location to anyone who asks me about swimming lessons. They tick all my boxes, and majority of my referrals agree that they tick theirs.

In the midst of a residential area this swim school has a heated pool that is covered from direct sunlight. Change rooms inside and air conditioned with a clear view of the pool for family/friends to spectate.

We started coming here this year and have been really enjoying the classes. Every session has been really fun and is a great learning environment for the little ones. There is plenty of toys to keep them interested as they learn to swim and gain confidence. The standout is definitely the teachers, in particular Benita as she super friendly and the kids love her.

Shapland Swim School at Warner is simply brilliant. Our 4 and a half year old has been going there for around 6 months and has made amazing progress in that short time! I can honestly say that his teacher Terri is a superstar and genuinely cares about all of her students!

We had persisted at a different school thinking that he's struggle to be comfortable in the water was simply due to his personality/quirks and that, with time, he would settle. We didn't realise at the time just how wrong we were!

He is extremely shy and works hard to overcome sensory overload (predominantly with noise and touch) on a day to day basis.especially when exposed to new and unfamiliar environments. After just a few short lessons with Terri, something beautiful happened. We watched as our little mans confidence grew so much that he was able to make it through an entire lesson without crying, screaming or running out of the pool.

Of course there have been a few 'off' lessons for him, but even during the rough days, the staff at Shapland Warner have NEVER made us feel anything less than welcome in their pool. The level of trust that they build with the students and parents is unique and something that we definitely value in any learning environment.

The best! We recently started our daughter at Shaplands after 3+ years at another swim school. She has gone from making very little progress and dreading swimming lessons, to it being her favourite time of the week! I honestly cannot believe how much her swimming has improved and she has the best time! Benita is a wonderful teacher!

We went through hell cancelling our service and after disputing the final bill they hounded us with threatening emails and have sent us to a debt collector and we are facing a black mark on our credit score. Beware their heavy handed practices and shop around first.

Edit to clarify - the situation that lead to Shapland becoming "forceful" was they wanted us to prove that we had cancelled our service and refused to accept what we said. Claimed to have received bookings from my wife on a date and time when her phone records proved otherwise, issued and withdrew credits in writing and later claimed them to be a mistake. Also recieved a personal dressing down from Chris Shapland himself - debt collector found in our favour as soon as the email history was supplied.

My daughter has been swimming at Shaplands swim school for almost a year now, The teachers there are fantastic and always welcoming and encouraging the kids. The ratio of 3: 1 is perfect for kids. We are very happy and will be swimming for years to come.

My son absolutely love swimming at Warner. He is quite a shy boy but the instructors have done a great job at connecting with him so that now he feels comfortable swimming without me. He has improved so much throughout the last 6 months!

We absolutely love Shapland Warner and all of the teachers there! Our son has learnt so much already there and the 3: 1 ratio is terrific. Love being able to do make classes and the easy app to make payments. Great facility and can’t wait to start our baby there soon too.
