Shapland Swim Schools - Morayfield

We have been taking our 3 children here for years - great teachers - small classes - lessons are 20mins so kids don't get to distracted. Highly recommend

Have been going to Shaplands Morayfield for over 5 years and couldn't fault them. My children absolutely love Miss Mel and Miss Katie!

No joke, this place is absolutely amazing! So much progress in such a short time when i hadnt seen much from another school. Lovely teachers AMAZING!

Our kids have always loved their swimming lessons and put 100% effort in. The staff are all great teachers and really know how to connect, encourage and teach, whilst also having fun. It has been lovely watching their confidence grow, as well as learning essential skills. Our daughter has recently graduated from Shapland and her new coach is so impressed with her swim strokes, and mentioned that most students come with bad habits from other schools. Thank you Shapland. We would highly recommend this swim school.

My daughter loves her lesson here. Loves her teacher Jess. She has great class mates which I believe have helped her learn more about herself and gain confidence to work hard to achieve her goals.

Highly recommend this place. My 3 yr old has come such a long way with her confidence in the water since coming here. I'm not so nervous when she's around water now. Thank you for your patience.

I had all three of my children here at Shapland Swim School Morayfield and we had so many problems with the teachers. Only good one there, has left now. I would NOT recommend trusting them with your children. One teacher scared my child, one yelled at my child for no reason mid lesson and made her cry, the teacher was having a bad day apparently!? They do offer a make up system if your child is sick but keep in mind they often have no sessions for you and the make ups tend to expire as they just keep telling you, nothing available this week or next week. Lots of other amazing swim schools in the area to choose from.

When it was time to introduce our 6 month old to swimming lessons, we searched for a school who painted themselves as family orientated, specialised and who had a point of difference.
Shapland only allows three to a class which enables the children to each develop their own skills at their own pace without having other children become a distraction.
Katie our swim instructor, pays particular attention to each child, reading what they are confident with and has never pushed our son to do something he doesn’t want to do.
He has never been afraid to enter the water, never been afraid to take his breath and put his head into the water on his own! This is what Shapland specialise in- they observe the children and then teach from there!

In the space of now 6 months, the difference and how far he has come is incredible and we couldn’t be more thankful to Shapland for being apart of our family in teaching our son one of life’s greatest skills!

The pool and their facilities are excellent, onsite parking - off the road, large viewing room with equally large windows and of course the pool- the pool is a mineral pool, which is kinder to little ones skin (and mine)
The pool consists of two different levels, each with their own uses.

We couldn’t recommend Shapland Swim schools, in particular Morayfield, higher enough!
Will definitely be taking our expending family there and will always recommend Shapland Morayfield to our family and friends!

Really dissatisfied.

My daughter went there for her first ever swim lesson, no greetings, we were expected to pretty much know what to do and where to go. No one showed us anything or even took the time to say hello and meet us and show us around. And they knew it was her first time and we hadn’t been there as I was texting with someone. The class went for 20 minutes it was rushed and they pretty much told me to get in with my daughter and start not involving her much at all and she was terrified. We have now found a better school with half an hour lessons, unlimited access to the pools, CHEAPER and way more friendly. She is still scared abit because of Shaplands being so not bothered or caring.

But when it came to them trying to get money off me I got attitude and harassed. Again, they couldn’t even greet us. And when the lesson ended they didn’t say it was even finished they just started putting other kids in the pool I learnt more from another father there telling me what they were doing. So disappointing and DO not recommend this swim school. Take 5 more minutes of a drive and head to Caboolture pool. They are 10 times better!

I've been going to Shapland Swim School for close to 6 months now. We started when my son Cooper was about 7 months old. We absolutely love it. Our teacher Katie is amazing and created such a bond with Cooper and him having so much trust in her.
Going for our first lesson I was so nervous but these guys made everything so easy. Prior to our lesson we got sent an email to start some at home exercises to get Cooper ready for his first lesson. We had a run down of what to expect and how to get into the pool area and what to do once it was our lesson time. Katie introduced herself and welcomed up all to the swim school. She then gave us a outline of what we would be doing in our first lesson and moving forward what we could expect.
Cooper absolutely loves going to swimming every week and LOVES Katie. Every child that I see in their lesson is always having the absolute best time and always learning so much.
One of the best things about Shapland is that there is only 3 little ones per lesson so this means they spend alot of one on one time and can focus alot more on each child instead of alot more children.
I was recommended to go here by so manends that have also been here and I'm so bloody glad I chose Shapland as our swim school and will be a long time client thats forsure.

These Swim Instructors are AMAZING!
They definitely know their stuff.
They show love to the kids & encourage them which results in my boys really enjoying the time they spend in the water.
Also, no more than 3 to a class which you don’t find at many places.
Highly Reccomend.

Shapland is the best Mel is my son Alistair teacher and he just loves going every Monday. Seeing Mel and loves swimming.

Incredible swim school highly recommend. Amazing instructors, heated magnesium technology pool. Viewing room & excellent facilities. Lessons are far superior from other schools we tried in the area.

Awesome teachers who genuinely care for their students. My son hated the water but now loves his swimming lessons.

My daughter started lessons here this week and has had 2 lessons so far. Before she started lessons she was so terrified of water, we couldn't get her to walk in ankle deep water let alone feel confident on her own.

2 lessons later and I have trouble convincing her to get out of the pool. She is so happy to be in the water with her teacher and even floats on her back happily without being scared.

I highly recommend Shaplands, the swim instructors are so encouraging and lovely and the small class sizes of 3 children per class is also a winner.

This is an amazing swim school we have been attending lessons since our daughter was 3 months old and she looks forward to every lessons and her teacher is amazing.
