Shapland Swim School Logan Reserve

My kids go to ShaplandSS Logan reserve with Anne as a teacher.
She is fantastic! My kids love her, she is full of love for the kids and also she teaches with discipline and structure which helps them to follow orders easier not only at swimming but school too and home.
So grateful
You should totally come and visit, 100% worthy.

Miss Ann is amazing my grandson started swimming lessons with her last November he is autistic and has PDA and language barriers he was scared of the water wouldn't get his hair wet would refuse to do anything at the start was scared of the holes that collect stuff that gets into the water, the side of pool, the bottom of the pool, would fight her so much and today he touched the side of the pool, touched the bottom of the pool with her hand under his foot, he is 7 and can float on back, and finally blew bubbles in the water

Amazing swim school with very skilled and caring instructors. My boys started terrified of the water and now they love swimming and look forward to their lessons every week. Highly recommend

Amazing swim school with such kind and dedicated swim instructors.

Pool is heated perfectly according to weather so that my kids can swim all year round. They love the smaller classes with a max of only 3 per class and have both excelled in such a short amount of time.

I love that they offer makeup sessions if needed and the Magna mineral pool is fantastic for my boys eczema we’ve never had a flare up unlike other pools

I'm so glad we found a loving swim school that feels like family. Miss Ann is very passionate and truly cares about teaching the children water awareness! She has helped not only my child but myself be comfortable with them in the water.

My daughter has been here almost a year. We highly recommend this swimming lesson facility. We love how each lesson is only taught with a max group of 3 kids in similar skills. 20mins goes a long way when our daughter goes consistently. She’s 6 now and is super confident in the deep end. She’s learnt so much in the last year. Is now competent in back stroke, freestyle (side breathing has developed quickly). Instructors know how to hold my daughters attention and get the most out of her. She loves her instructors especially Miss Mia and Miss Emily. Miss Mia is so bubbly, friendly, professional, experienced and has a way with the kids and connects with them on their level whilst delivering great safe session plans. Admin is amazing especially Meleena. Admin always efficiently responds to my requests and they go above and beyond reaching out to me if we’re available for make up lessons. I’m so happy you can cancel a class and then re-book class later on as a make-up lesson. They’ve provided flexibility for us and my daughter doesn’t miss out. We’ve experienced other facilities and found teaching groups were too many for one instructor. It felt overwhelming and busy, and you didn’t have enough one on one time. Shaplands LR delivers over and above service. Stress free.

My daughter has been attending this school for a few months now, swim lessons are an absolute highlight of her week. Her classes with Meleena have been wonderful, Meleena is a great instructor, so patient with the kids and just overall good at her job:)

I am so stoked to have found this swim school! Everything about it is perfect. My daughter and I have been attending weekly for nearly a year and her water skills continue to improve. What we love about Shapland:
- indoors and heated so can swim all year round
- always clean and excellent changing facilities
- clear communication regarding lessons
- great online portal for payments, booking make up lessons etc
- easy parking
- small group lessons (max 3) - you definitely get attention to detail and that personal touch.
- lessons are targeted at child’s specific needs
- last but not least we love the instructors, especially Meleena. She is incredible and we are so grateful for everything she does for Adelaide.

If you are even slightly thinking about giving this school a go, do it- you won’t regret it!

Absolutely LOVE this swim school for my 2 year old daughter. It did take a couple of lessons for her to warm up and feel comfortable but now she absolutely loves it & looks forward to going. Meleena is such an amazing instructor and is so patient with her. I also love how the classes are very small, it makes a huge difference.

Worst swim school I’ve ever enrolled my child into and we’ve visited several. First of all the lack of communication and service is appalling. They never answer their phone during office hours which is only 4 hours in a day, emails get ignored. This has happened on multiple occasions. Their online system is hard to navigate and needs more options for self help if they’re going to slack off this hard. Swim instructors are average. One lady was new, very nice but lacked people skills and did not give off that confident and encouraging energy a child needs when learning to swim. Other instructor barely acknowledged us during class and their attention was on the other child who’s first lesson it was. Mind you it was only our third lesson and my daughter isn’t even 2 years old so definitely needs help. Activities are basic and don’t teach many survival skills needed I felt it was a complete bludge class everytime. The waiting room is small, overcrowded and sometimes without aircon and your sitting in a stinking hot room. Will be going somewhere else when they decided to call me back lol

My 18-month-old twins have attended swimming lessons at Shapland Swim School Logan Reserve for the last two weeks and, in that short time, their water confidence has improved exponentially. Meleena is a fantastic swimming instructor! She is engaging, knows how to speak to my little ones, is patient and does not push them out of their comfort zones prematurely. One of my children was petrified of putting their head under the water, but now comes home and willing wants to get their head wet. I could not recommend Meleena highly enough. She is an asset to their team!

I am so glad to have found Shapland at Logan Reserve! My children have become very water confident in a small amount of time. The teachers always have a smile on their face and my children are always counting down the days and hours before their next lesson. Thank you ladies!

Fantastic staff, free make-up sessions and a great app. My children have learned water survival skills and have become more confident in other areas of life as well due to the skills they learn here. Thank you SSS!

Love this school. Miss Melina is amazing she turned my water terrified daughter into someone that is excited to swim and loves putting her head underwater. Love the small classes too.

I’m not satisfied parent since I enrolled my kid for swimming lesson. They don’t have categories were the child should belong. They mixed my kid to a learner and end up the trainer focused on the learner. Asking payment is too fast than my kid learning how to swim. They need to improve there swimming lesson and it should be by category rather mix the learner to intermediate to advanced. Highly not recommended…

I love this swim school. My four year old daughter was too scared to go under water and after four months of classes she is so confident in the water and will go under water no problems. Every teacher here is just amazing and so great with both my girls. Thank you to the whole team here at shapeland.
