What a lovely experience visiting this practice, Dr Ellie is really lovely and took time with me, no rushing me out the door.

Visiting Shaler Park Medical was a good experience. The doctor was professional and excellent in her support and manner. The staff are so friendly and I am happy for this practice to fulfill my medical requirements. Thank you Shailer Park Medical.

Staff is really helpful and nice. Had my baby's immunisation there, staff really tried their best to provide us with a comfortable and loving environment.

Absolutely terrible receptionist, almost like she had forgotten she is getting paid for being their, no excuse to be so rude to customers

Rude receptionist upon arrival and dismissive GP. I asked several questions to assist my young daughter with her cough and the response was ‘just give her Panadol’. Our appointment went for literally 3 mins. I was hoping for better service given this clinic isn’t fully bulk billed but unfortunately not.

Reception staff were so lovely, helpful and welcoming. Dr Mian was very professional and listened to my needs. Highly recommend this practice!

Glad that I started coming here. Dr Ellie Asadi has great patient care and takes time to listen and explain thoroughly during each appointment. Its not fully bulk billed but it is certainly worth it.

Great service provided by the nurses syringing my ears. Charged for a full consultation by the doctor who spent one minute with me.

Have been going through a specific medical journey for almost 2 years now. Just moved back into the area after 3 years, having been a previous patient to this practice. I had a request from another specialist to get certain blood tests. Asked for this list of tests (which my specialist said should be bulk billed), to which Dr Laila Mian ticked the 'QML fee' on the form, as she "couldn't justify bulk billing". I asked for an explanation as to why, as I had just spent time explaining why I needed the tests. She couldn't give me a straight answer other than "can't justify". I got the impression she was very unhappy with me requesting certain blood tests without going through my full 2 years of medical history (as I didn't want to be charged for an extra long consult, over something as simple as getting a pathology referral - yet I still gave what I thought would be enough background information). Rang QML pathology to double check whether the tests should've been bulk billed, to which they confirmed yes they should've. Overall, really unhappy that the doctor has gone out of their way to leave me out of pocket, when it should've been bulk billed. It's been an expensive and emotionally draining medical journey, so having to pay to see a private doctor who just made it even harder was dreadful.

Dr Chaudhary has been prompt and professional in all aspects of my visits. Very thorough in all testing and referrals. Very affordable.

I actually wasn’t very happy, made a phone appointment as I was unable to wait for a week, the doctor called my 1 hr and 7 mins late, after my call I got another call from reception saying I had to pay $60 for the consultation, I have a pension card and have never had to do this, would have been good if I was made aware of this before hand, this practice has really gone down hill since all the old doctors have left, it use to be a lovely place to go.

Good, prompt service from front desk.
Not too long a wait to see doctor.
Overall a stress-free visit.

I’ve been a Patient there for 30 years but because I’ve had over a full year of good health they want to charge me the full rate and refuse to process a Medicare rebate. Hits home that you’re just a number.

During this pandemic, its hard to get medical attention, unless you call an ambulance. I called my local doctor because they are just around the corner, the Receptionist at Hyperdome medical centre was rude and abrupt. I then called Shailer Park Medical centre as my husband is a patient there, and the receptionist was so helpful and understanding. She booked us both in for a Covid test at another centre. I will definitely be changing medical centres.
Thank you to the lovely, helpful receptionist. Bravo on patient care

After having the one doctor for over 30 years, I'll be saying Goodbye. Doctor I had didn't even give me a blood pressure test. Patients deserve respect not to be looked down at

My son has recently turned 17 and is still a dependent and attending school.
We called for an appointment this morning but as he had a sore throat (which we suspect as tonsillitis) we could only have a phone consult. The doctor called at 2.11 and I hung up at 2.13.
I was told there would be a script for anti biotics at the centre I could collect. Then I received a phone call 5 minutes later to ask for payment of $71
I find this disgraceful practice and am now looking at alternative medical centres that choose not to take advantage of families in this current climate.

Horrible service had an ear infection they would not see me saying it was symptoms of covid as a medical practice they have a duty of care to see people that have medical issues just cause covid is around does not give them the excuse to deny people patient care

Always professional, clean rooms and I never have to wait long. I have had to see different doctors and they are all good.

Misleading
I was doing a flu shot last week. I called and they say it’s free. And when I arrived they tell me it’s free.
Then after couple of days later I have received a bill of $65 for doctor who see me for 5 minutes.
It’s misleading

I have been a patient here for over 2 decades. Dr Neil Fletcher, Dr Maurren Fitzsimmons, Dr Al-Harris, and Dr Mills.unfortunately I haven't found all of the drs to be understanding and empathic. (I won't see or recoomend Dr Laila Mian or Dr Susan Grey ever again.have never had such awful treatment as I have with those two)
