If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Shayne is absolutely amazing with kids! Highly recommend. He is patient, fun, knowledgeable and such a great role model and support system for the kids. Thank you to Mr Ethan as well the kids absolutely love him!

Shayne at Senshido is amazing with the kids providing a fun, supportive environment for them to grow their martial arts skills and their confidence. If you want to train martial arts in the Gold Coast, this is the place to go. Everything you learn has real world experience as the Head Instructor, Shayne, possesses this experience, unlike many others. The comradery between trainees is unbelievable and you will feel welcomed and respected from your first day. You can train as hard or as light as you want - there is no pressure - you will be accomodated either way. The system and atmosphere that Shayne has created is incredible and if you commit to it, it will change your life for the better.

Senshido has a great culture and a good range of classes that caters to all levels and ages. Sensei Shayne is an incredible instructor who genuinely cares about his students and wants to see them reach their goals. He has been working with me for the past few years to help me overcome PTSD from a previous DV relationship and it has changed my life completely. I highly recommend Senshido to anyone that is wanting to do martial arts.

My son has been attending Senshido Martial Arts for almost a year. His skill, confidence, fitness and comrarderie have all seen significant improvement, development and progression. Sensai is a wonderful trainer as well as mentor for all the children and he provides a safe community that all the children are supported in. We couldnt be happier that we found Senshido and cannot recommend it enough for any family that wants to see not just ability training, but also to be included in a wonderful welcoming community at Senshido. Not to mention he has the most fun! What a win win!

Very welcoming environment. All the students here are friendly and respectful. I have joined the class and am really enjoying all the knowledge and skills being learnt.

I honestly can't rate Senshido highly enough. My son has been attending now for around 6 months and I have been able to watch him grow in his self confidence as well as his abilities. Shane and all the staff and students have welcomed my son and made him feel like he belongs. For a shy, anxious child to feel comfortable and confident is truly down to Shane and the environment that he has created.

I highly recommend this training centre. The philosophy that they offer is like no other on the coast. I feel like I recieve a very well rounded fighting style training here. They balance teaching the traditional aspects of martial arts, whilst providing a modern day application for self defence that applies to real life examples. I love the Senshido mantra of "whatever it takes". Reading into this you will discover that a lot of confrontations can be resolved without breaking your enemies Jaw. This is because they put a high focus on protecting your enemy. The Senshido family is a great one, you will always be surrounded with knowledge and feel welcome. You can train as aggressively or as light as you feel comfortable. Looking forward to continuing with my journey here.

I loved this place sadly due to personal reasons i had to stop going but i made amazing friends and i learnt really useful stuff
