Sophie is a wonderful dance teacher and facilitates great classes! I joined her adults beginner ballet class in January 2022 for term 1 and I’m so pleased I did. I have little to no experience at ballet and Sophie worked effortlessly to ensure the class and I were supported, comfortable and ultimately having fun. I love her saying ‘let’s dance of the day’. I’d thoroughly recommend this class to anyone looking to start exploring dancing or looking to get back into it. A great way to meet people and enjoy an hour of exercise.

Sophie is a warm and welcoming dance teacher who creates a very inclusive space for anyone who wants to dance (no matter your experience level). She oozes creativity and her choreography encourages you to loosen up and feel free in movement. I thoroughly enjoy going to classes not only becasue I get to dance and learn new movements but also because I get to enjoy the company of Sophie and the beautiful people who are a part of Selah Movement!

Sophie is such an inspiring teacher with an wonderful depth of knowledge. As an adult ballerina, I have learnt so much, and with Sophie's guidance and support, I feel like I have made such improvement in my strength, flexibility and technique. I love my classes, the community that Sophie has attracted, and I can't wait for my little daughter to be older enough to start a class with Miss Sophie as well. Honesty, cant recommend highly enough.

Sophie is a caring, gentle, and encouraging teacher. She always offers positive feedback and support. The community of dancers at Selah Movement are more like family and friends, it's a beautiful space to let go and feel free, a space where you build one and other up, a space where you feel welcome.
