Schulte's Meat Tavern

I have never liked meat shopping until I went to Schulte's. Staff are super friendly and helpful and so much to choose from.

Not a good experience. Visited the store spoke with staff then Ordered a whole pig 25kg for roasting 7 days prior to 50th birthday party. Rang to confirm the day before the party to confirm collection time only to be told it was never ordered

Stopped in this afternoon. Grabbed an assortment of meats. Sampled the beer sticks we had purchased while still in the parking lot and they were so good we went back in and bought more. Glad I visited

Sirloin? From a beast that they tortured and butchered, and sold as the toughest meat. We love medium rare steak and my husband cooks them perfectly. Couldn’t eat it as couldn’t chew thru it. What happened to the quality? Maple bacon was divine. Easy to chew, avoid the sirloin

Great selection of small goods and deli items. Fresh meat products. Great quality and very responsible pricing. Lastly great old fashioned friendly customer service. Very positive customer experience and we will be back often.

My father was eating Schulte's mettwurst 50 years ago so you could say we are long term customers. You will find food here you will not find anywhere else, and the quality has always been exceptional. That includes the fresh meat, smallgoods and vegetables.

Bit expensive, but the extra cost is worth it to me as a bit of a treat.
Taste of beef rissoles, bratwursts, steakettes and lamb rissoles are very good. Unfortunately, I personally couldn't afford to buy here all the time.

Amazing selection even 30 minutes to close. Wonderfully attentive service from Deb, answered our every question and ensured we were sent home with the best cut of brisket they had available. She definitely went above and beyond for us, so friendly and knowledgeable. The only place we've been in the Lockyer that stocks yummy Ballandean wines. Back tomorrow hoping for some baby back ribs! Linda cashed us out with a smile and a cheerful "Merry Christmas". Loved the service, ladies. Price point is reasonable for the quality, no complaints from us!

Best meat and staff ever i remember coming here 20 years ago and still the best butcher in se Queensland

What a fantastic place, every cool product we all love, from stuffed olives, Beef Jerky and Biltong of all types to Salamis, Kabana and high quality meats and cheeses and my favourite crocodile meat all under the same roof, They have it all. It is a great drive out in the country from all directions and although you're going to come out broke, all the products are of great value for the money. An easy 5 stars from me.

Great range of products. Even a range of wines. Staff friendly and helpful. Well worth the drive.

Today, I was served by Paul who made great conversation and was genuinely interested in my responses. He was very helpful and saw to it that I had a polystyrene box snd ice pack to take my meat home in. Very well done, Paul and Schultes.

Gourmet delights galore! Not sure what to expect from my first visit, but I could definitely make it a semi regular stop in. A fabulous range of gourmet products including sauces, marinades, cheeses and even wine. Of course there was plenty of meat as well, which was fun to work my way past as I had a good sticky beak. Impressive range. I didn’t buy much this trip but I’ll be back!

We purchased some ham steaks, which were so loaded with salt we could not eat them. We respected our dogs too much, and just turfed them in the bin. Will be not going back again. The prices for other items we saw there were exhorbitantly expensive. No thanks.

I don’t rate this place at all. Previously we bought a watermelon from here that had gone off, and a prepackaged pack of sliced ham that was also past its use by date. Just recently I bought bones to make bone broth and I got them home and they to smelled bad. I am done. Quality control clearly not happening here. Overrated. I’ve been to much better butchers.

Love stopping at this place on the way to Brisbane or Sunshine Coast. Best meat like crumbed pork steaks, all varieties of wurst and beersticks, (my favourite - garlic) lovely lamb neck and shoulder chops and 3 different varieties of rissoles which all taste great cooked!

Service was great. This place is virtually a delicatessen but also sells great meats.
Come out with all sorts of meat cuts, balsamic vinegar, cured meats and some fresh produce.

I have never seen a butcher this dear in my life. The stuff were so rude and I would NEVER ever go back.

If you are looking for great steaks and meat products Schultes's is the place to go. Excellent quality and fantastic customer service.
