My partner and I went to Sauers to purchase some footwear in May 2023. We saw some nice shoes in the store but very limited sizes. The staff suggested that we predict our shoe sizes and get them ordered in. When we returned to try on these shoes we had a negative experience. First, the young staff member didn't physically assist us with trying the shoes. Next, she dismissed our opinions with a condescending attitude, while avoiding eye contact. Last, and most disappointing, she implied it was our fault that my partner guessed her shoe size incorrectly. Whilst my pair (luckily) did fit, my partner chose to get a refund rather than try to guess another size. As a result she didn't have suitable workshoes for nearly two weeks. Unfortunately she developed severe back pain during her kitchen shifts. When we visited a rival workwear store she was able to try on a variety of shoes with courteous staff and find a suitable pair within ten minutes.

Went in to buy school uniforms for my daughter who starts prep 2023, stood looking and waiting for some kind of customer service and received none, and as i walked out is all i got was "cya". Will be going elsewhere from now onwards.

Good prices, but very poor communication coupled with a poorly made online store and no order status updates or tracking.

Placing an online order was a challenge. No product photos to speak of, and the payment gateway couldn't get the shipping address to match the one I entered into their online store.

No communication by the business about shipping times, when to expect the order, no tracking numbers of any kind or any type of order status notifications other then an initial automatically generated order confirmation email.

Emailed the store asking about an order status and tracking number, got a polite reply saying they would get back to me. Never got any more emails from them.

Order turned up via a courier, despite their website shipping info page implying orders get sent via Australia Post taking about post office pick ups for missed deliveries.

The order arrived with the correct quantities, but the lack of any tracking information or even basic order status updates during this whole buying process discourages me from using this supplier again.

I was after a high Viz orange work shirt. I rang the Hervey Bay store to inquire however their office staff answered as the store sales staff were busy serving customers. I was in desperate need of getting this short for a work assignment on short notice and due to the urgency of getting organized quickly didn't have time to leave my contact details.
Give praise were it's due the staff member at head office followed up and checked with their Hervey Bay store to confirm that the work shirt I was after was in stock and sent me an SMS to confirm. Top marks and my since thanks.
