Friendly proshop staff, beautiful Palm course. Outside proshop, I got a typical ‘hit and run’ oral assault by two players drived pass. Cow!

My personal feeling is as follows.
The staffs are in the club house restaurant are very rude. I did not know that I should not wear a cap in the restaurant. A white old waitress shouted me to take off my hat. I have never experienced that no hat policy in the club house. Although there is no hat policy, she should have explained gently rather than shouting.

Also if you want to play at the palms you should have enough time before the tee time. It is very complicated to find the Palms course 1st hole from the Pine course club house;they closed the Palms course clubhouse and you have to go to Pine course clubhouse via security gate. So, if you book the Pamls course, you should go to the Pines course club house. Because these courses are private courses they do not care the non-membership player. The course itself is quite nice but I was not comfortable due to the rudness of the staffs. I want to give minus five star but there is no minus star I gave one star.

What's going on with this golf club? Used the link on their website for public bookings, was an individual's email? And got an auto response saying he's away to the 11th July? What the? Also used there email template and got an auto response saying someone will respond within 1 business day? No response? Get better management from Charleville golf club. Worst club on the coast. Plenty of other courses on the coast that welcome the public.choose one of them.

Stayed for my 50th birthday in club suite room, overall okay, loved our service in the club lounge by Lila, very friendly and professional, made us feel welcome and special, Thankyou! Resort run down and in need of maintenance, hubby asked for fan in bathroom to be fixed, nobody came. Biggest issue was food needed in club lounge for twilight drinks, this should be fully stocked for price paid, but when they run very low of the basic canapés on both nights we were there, it was not topped up! Overall a nice stay, friendly staff but would not stay again.

This Golf course is International standard and the wallabies on the course are a favourite of mine. Welcome to the Palms with great water birds and then the Pines with their long skinny fairways that you can only play if you are an owner of a resident of the gated community or staying at the Intercontinental!

Outback verandah Sunday special, great view and great value beers and wines.

Summer special, not bad in autumn

Highly recommend, and live music in background

Beautiful course, driving range open to members only, no drinks/snacks cart, and the restaurant closes at 2pm leaving some really hungry, thirsty and disappointed customers.

Stunning fairways and greens. It'll make you cry at times though. Not an easy course, but very enjoyable.

Played the Palms course knowing it was undergoing the annual renovation. The greens were sandy but not as bad as I expected. Still was a joy to play here and great to finish the round in 3 hours unlike 5+ hours at many other courses these days.

Course in great shape. Greens recently refurbished but still good. Service from all staff encountered was first rate.

Excellent golf course set up. Unfortunately couldn't enjoyed it as the wet weather drenched us. Maybe next time.

Beautiful views, good food and service but it can get a bit loud when all the golfers are catching up. I just look for a quieter spot which is fine. Enjoy

Was on holiday with my family in sanctuary cove rented a beautiful home and also brought my golf clubs over from NZ.

On Tuesday 5th Sept I drove down to this beautiful golf course at 6.30am to play a round.only to be told by a staff member at the front that this is a members course only and I could not play.

I was absolutely devastated only to find out 4 days later that it was actually a public golf course.i was furious as I had to leave the next day.

Is it because I'm a kiwi.or Maori?
You might want to change that sign at the front saying visitors welcome because they are clearly NOT!
