Salvos Stores Bundall reviews
33Absolutely beautiful staff and beautiful, clean store also full of bargains. I highly recommend this store as the service was amazing and the prices are reasonable, i will definitely be shopping there again
The lady working in there today was incredibly rude. I had a number of items i was trying on but due to possibly a poor trying on system, she proceeded to count each item and it’s coat hanger each time I walked in and out of the change room, she stood outside the door and waited the whole time for me to get dressed. Because of the lengthy trying on process, my 3 year old was extremely restless. She proceeded to yell at him for running in the shop, when she could have calmly spoken to him. It was embarrassing and demoralising for me. I should have walked out and regret spending my money here.
This was a very tidy store, plenty of room to move around and look at stock. Very friendly person at the counter. A bit low in stock of women's blouses.
Very good, well laid out. Have had good experiences here and very productive shopping trips.
I absolutely love this op shop, everyone’s so kind and helpful, and I’ve found some of my favourite clothing items there it’s got so much good things!
I came here today with my grandma and l we were both so impressed by the store. Everything was organised so well and they had such a huge range of clothes, books and homeware. It was all reasonably priced too. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.
Lovely atmosphere in this store
Service second to none
Beautiful displays and organised well for easy shopping. Kind personable staff that are ever so helpful.
Hi everyone, I just want to share with you the most wonderful experiences that I have had with the Salvation Army, not just at Bundall, who I might add are some of the most helpful and wonderful people I have ever dealt with, but with the fantastic work they do for all of us. I am a Salvation Army kid back in the 60s, who would never had made it through life without them. Please help the people that help us, give support and a friendly word to the hard working people of the Salvation Army. God bless you all, and thank you!
Great place to op shop, staff are wonderful so pleasant to talk to. I like that. I have been shopping here on and off for a while now and will continue to do so. Love this shop love this location. Special mention to Mel and David keep up the great work
This store is always immaculately presented and well organised (sizes, colours and clothing types). The staff are super kind and helpful. There is an amazing "brand" section of quality items (yes, you pay a little more than "op shop prices" but the quality is worth it). They even rotate the layout of the store to account for the seasons! Well done Salvos Bundall team.you do great work!
In my opinion, way overpriced and level 100 rude staff
Hadn't been here for 12 months and it is even worse than before. The shop had zero customers and five minutes of browsing gave the reason.
Prices 30% higher than any other Coast charity shop and the quality is borderline garbage. I left some bric a brac in the wrong spot and the one and only Salvos staff member chastised me and began to give me advice on etiquette.
I don't now how this shop survives. Amazing stuff
I was served by staff member today and it was the absolute rudest encounter I have had by a paid Op shop staff member in years of op shopping.
The scene - There was no staff at the counter and maybe one or two other customers in store. I rang the bell once, the bell that the Salvos place on their counter for customers to get attention to pay for your items.
A middle aged woman came to the desk and started to ask if I was in a hurry and why couldn't I wait for her to come to the desk? I mean, wth?
Well, Salvos, I did look around and saw no one, so I used the system that your store has in place to ask for assistance.
What followed was a passive aggressive tirade from the salvos staff member, suggesting I should have waited, that I wasn't having a good day, that I was the rude one! The level of gaslighting was incredible.
In my opinion, the prices in the shop were way over what other op shops charge on the gold coast, there was next to zero customers and the staff encounter was the rudest op shop encounter I had.
Give this place a miss
Great location and easy to park just in front of it, so that was convenient when we dropped bags of clothes and kitchenware from my mother in law place we helped to declutter between Xmas and NYE.
We went twice, and the 1st time the lady wasnt that friendly, while the second time the other (older) lady was lovely.
We had a look inside the store too after dropping the bags. It is very clean, tidy, well organised too, loads of items to choose from.
However, some clothes were overpriced, I looked at a small round handbag at $15 which wasn't even leather.
Got some kitchenware items cheaper though, such as some bamboo pegs ($1) and a metal hook to put over the door ($2).
This is the most overpriced op shop I have ever been to. After asking a lady who worked there what the pice of the baby and toddler sized clothing in a basket was? She told me "depending on the brand they will access it at the counter to give me a price. Definitely very little optunitys here.
Hold tags up to light can see what used to be $3 is now $10 some outlandish prices. Staff greeted and were friendly but the prices are all over the shop
High prices here. I understand the need to pay bills, rent etc but for products they receive for free- seems too high.
Well set out and tidy shelves but some things are almost and OVER new prices!
Went looking for a plus size jacket for my partner, came out very upset as prices ranged from $70-$130 for the only plus size jackets in store. Give this store a miss and most items in there were ridiculously priced, more expensive than brand new items. Mainly have Kmart and target priced at ridiculous rates. They justified this as managers pricing, try the salvos at mermaid water for some actual charity shop prices and hospitality. Salvation army used to be about caring for people, sad to see the lack of diversity and care represented in this store.
I spent my Sat morning trying to help some young people with their needs. Prices were very high and when requested, was rudely told that there was no room for reduction (no room for charity). Very sad. The items are donated so why sell a warm jacket for outrageous price at over $70. Plus size clothing is so hard to come by in op shops and the only one that fitted, to be sold at over $70 is criminal
Shop is very organised & fresh & clean.very good stock & plenty of it.
Staff serving today Thursday arvo very professional but nice.
Prices not too bad, couple things overpriced I thought but generally good.
Parking plenty of.easy
Ok location easy to find and parks.but the prices are quite expensive as,
I feel they think that they are a
cash converters or a pawn shop and not an Charity op store. Will definitely not be Recommending this store or company for donations. As I feel they have lost there way and become very greedy.good luck in the future hopefully You realise that your Op shop and not a high priced cash converters.
