Just visited this store today. They have a great selection of items, And the staff members are quite friendly and helpful.but ohgeez the prices are high Some of the prices in the store are ridiculous. I don't mean a slight increase. I mean, very high-priced. I'm not too sure what market they're trying to aim for maybe the rich people from Paradise point. If you are looking to buy something because you're not very well off, this is not the place for you.

Ps
Please Salvos Don't ask me
"What we can do differently" because if you can't see that you must be very out of touch with the world.

Honestly the most amazing Salvos store my partner and I have ever been too. We love thrift shopping and love doing our home up in unique furnishings and thanks to this amazing store and amazing manager (Nikki) we have been able to create beautiful rooms with genuinely good quality furniture. When we tell people where we get our furniture we get the same reaction everytime. "Shock“ lol that's why we love doing it. Not only is this store incredibly organised but it's also got a uniqueness about it, it's displays are fantastic and the range is even better, The Manager Nikki is such a lovely woman who drops everything everytime we walk into her lovely store. She goes above and beyond every time to help us find something we are looking for or something just as good. She remembers our style and what we would like. It's a lively experience everytime we walk in. It appears Everyone who works for this manager is treated with such respect and she (Nikki) speaks so highly of each one of her team members, you can see that everytime we are in. All the amazing volunteers seems very happy and seem to actually enjoy what they are doing for the community. So thanks guys! We love this place Please Dont change a THING!

Best to go to Southport salvos. Over priced probably better shooting over to harbour town outlets pay Xtra few bucks buy brand-new. Everything here top dollar for 2, nd hand not worth the bother sorry. Few more dollars you got unused brand-new clothing.

I agree with the other people leaving comments. This is the most expensive op shop in Australia. I think the store manager needs to get a bit of a reality check. The idea of Salvation Army stores is to provide a place for people with little money to shop and buy decent things. Your prices should be 10 or 20% of new at best. Please manager think about your pricing strategy

$70 for a clothes hamper? $6 for a ugly photo frame? $50 for a pair of shoes TK max sell for $40. Not worth it. What happened? Big sign on the front door stating no donations. Figure they don’t have any room because they’re charging stupid prices. Easier to go to Kmart and get a new item

Prices at this store are hilarious! $70 for a hamper which is BRAND NEW at kmart for $25! Who even came up with that price?

Pair of DIRTY SMELLY running shoes were $29. Manager at this store needs the sack. Absolute joke of an op shop. And they wonder why they can't accept any more donations? You have no room because you don't sell your ridiculously priced items!

This has got to be the worst prices I have ever seen in an opshop! Kmart basket that costs $10 brand new had a $70 tag! Kmart pillow priced at $3.80 brand new had a $10 tag, I was absolutely shocked at how overpriced everything in the store was especially clothes and shoes that were visibly worn and scuffed. The workers pricing these items should be ashamed.

The most expensive Salvo Store I've ever been to. $2700 for a second hand lounge, ridiculous. Russ Bear $70, the same online $30, crazy.

Overpriced
They would not markdown a damaged hemmed skirt even by a dollar. Asked the manager and she said the price is the price. They also had many other items such as a large Russ toy for $70 whereas online it is $30 over priced or priced the same as new when still second hand.

Ridiculous prices, $2500 for a leather lounge, $180 for a retro pot, clothes that were on designer rack over $30 and weren't even good quality or designer labels. Not sure whose managing this store but im surprised you get a sake or move stock, the most expensive charity shop I've ever been too.

Prices are ridiculous, it's supposed to be a charity store not somewhere you go to rip the poor people off. $25 for a used cushion? Come on!

The workers there are lovely but the prices are just under retail price. (That was admitted to me when I was buy dolls). They find out the price originally and if it's 60 bucks they'll take it to about 40. It's by far the most expensive op shop I've been to

Friendly staff
But the prices are ridiculous, aren't op shops supposed to be encouraging people to buy second so less things end up in land fill & also for people who are struggling financially but your better off to shop at Kmart unfortunately: (

Have been donating and purchasing for many years at this store and many others. Went a few days ago and I was shocked at the prices. Millers basic thin jumper $25! I purchased a basic jumper with a stain and came to find out it was $24. The prices are ridiculous. I love to support stores like this and have donated many bags over the years. I hate complaining especially in regards to prices at charity stores but the prices make me feel frustrated; I thought the whole point of these places were to be affordable. This’s is no hate towards the workers as they have always been kind to me.

Unbelieable HIGH prices. Op Shop NOT. How can people afford to shop there. I think the Salvos are getting very greedy.

I cannot believe the prices in this store. I was coming here for years and the prices and staff were fantastic. Now I cannot afford to shop here - it is cheaper in store/on line. I went today and couldn’t believe my eyes. A pair of second hand K-Mart jeans were $27.00 and a scratchy old chopping board was $8.00 - no brand name - I have the same one I got brand new in K-Mart for $6.00. This isn’t the only store that has changed their pricing - Bundall, Burleigh and Southport are ridiculous. Shame on you - buying from your stores to help people I need is the same as people that need to shop in your stores that can’t afford to shop at the shops. If I could post photos I would. Very disappointing.

Great quality items and lovely customer service however the one downside is the pricing. For an Op-Shop, the prices are on the higher end. The most expensive Op Shop on the coast that i have been to. Other than that, it is quite good. Certainly worth visiting.
