Runaway Bay Centre reviews
62Just about Everything you need in one place. The parking and road structure is a bit lacking and confusing though
Good shopping centre with just about every shop you'd need unless buying furniture, whitegoods, etc.
Whoever decided on the mix of eateries in the new food court should really go out and have a look around…a blonde singer is not what one goes for to a food court…variety, variety and more variety…you have missed the idea of what a food court is all about completely……
A physical upgrade of the place is one thing but you took away why people came to eat…
Love to shop here, love the new dining area, and has all the shops that you want under one roof.
This place is trash now days -
Only 3 different places to get food now.
If u dont like sushi or Carvery. Ur pretty much screwed.
On the 7/1/22 they had some horrible preformer singing some really out of pitch songs
Had to go outside just to get away from the screaming cat.
What happened to this shopping centre?
Good shopping complex with a newly renovated food court and new Asian and fruit market. Also a few of the major supermarkets and department stores and other specially shops.
Love this shopping centre every shop is easy to locate great wide isles Always very clean and retailers are always happy and polite
Plenty of parking, good range of stores. Coles parking is usually a little packed, but can always find a space within 2-3 rows of travel.
Rude front end staff. Food quality is not good. Provided wrong sauces on top of Kebab on a plate
Would like to thank an honest trolley collector today! Unfortunately I don’t know who it was, but he found my wallet in a trolley in the Big W car park and handed it in. Even though it had $265 in it. I am so forever grateful and I wish I knew who you were! Thank you!
I shop here every week, needs more parking/ maybe a new overhead parking space. Otherwise this plaza has just had some great refurbishments done & everything is under the one roof, one floor shopping.
Centre is being renovated and looks great but they need to work on getting retailers to open for the correct hours.
Twice we have been in to Coffee Club and been turned away because they were closing. Today (Sunday 28/11/21) they turned it's away at 1: 30PM.
They need to train their trolley workers properly. The trolley guys are always mumbling on the phone while they are at work with their earphones stuck in their ears, and they drive very dangerously. They even stop in the middle of the road while they are on the wheel and texting on the phone and do not even care about blocking others way. Such attitudes are very disturbing and they definitely wouldn't care if they cause accident. The use of phones during work hours and the ignorant attitudes must be fixed straight away to avoid any incovenience for customers.
The new food court set up is nice. Coffee shop is nice. Coffee on the deck over looking the canal. Nice.
It will be nice when it's finished. There was a smell of chemicals at the coffee shop outside the travel agents. Not very nice when eating or drinking.
Now the centre has nearly finished the renovations its nice and clean its more open in the food court still a couple of place to open. When it is finished it's going to be a great shopping centre.
Always shop at the shopping centre
My favourite stores are Robin kitchen
And flight centre
Even with a makeover it's still a poor centre
I feel for those who have invested money into the Foodcourt with a business
6pm on a Thursday night
No customers no shops open
Very poor excuse for a Shopping Centre
The renovations are brilliant bringing a new life to this shopping centre, finally! The Foodcourt or the Food Terasse is very elegant, zen and spacious. Can't wait to see the entire place completed; any idea when it would be?
Always something to do here. Lots of lovely little boutiques, Woolworths, Giant Chemist, Cash Converters, Westpac, ANZ and others, Eye specialists, Lowe's, Coles, shoe repairs, Target, KFC, tavern, dental care and even health foods. Pretty handy place and never overcrowded. Clean, has toilets and Big W, so you can't go wrong here. Even a cheap shop as well. ️
Food court major revamp 92% complete. The new Sushi food court eatery was excellent. I gave 4 stars as the Sushi bar was the only eatery open. I think the Cafe was open.
The refurbished food court looks fantastic.
