RSPCA Brisbane Animal Care Campus reviews
67Everytime I call there about a animal in need its always the same answer / we can't help you call someone else! Disgraceful, how do you guys survive in this world I have no idea! YOU GUYS ARE SUPPOSED TO HELP, HELP, HELP AT ALL COST! WHEN IS THIS GOING TO SINK IN?
Very judgmental and discriminating towards people who want to adopt animals. Declining people for having children and being pregnant.
They ask for a photo of you’re license and invasive information regarding you’re location and living arrangements including asking for photos of you’re backyard. Not comfortable doing that. Doesn’t fit right with me.
Cannot adopt or by kittens and puppies.
Do not recommend.
The vet who made the report/inspection on my baby boy (after dog mauling) below forgot to mention the huge gash in his chest. I was shocked when I took him to the vet for surgery. He died after surgery. I’m sure you guys do great work- but you let me and Charlie down and you led me to believe he’d be ok. The negligence has left me flabbergasted! I came in to ask why? Nobody called me back as promised and nobody apologised for this mistake. Thanks a lot Bronwyn (vet who oversaw Charlie)! Great inspection!
Picked my new fur baby last week. Staff were friendly and ensured all the necessary processes were sorted prior to adoption. Would be great to be able to meet and greet a few animals before applying to adopt though, maybe thus is no longer possible due to covid restrictions? Anyway, overall an easy and rewarding process adopting! Thanks so much for looking after all these animals before they find a home:)
They dont care about your animal you adopted just another animal to them never return calls i now know why people who are treated cruelly our ignored that they take their frustrations out on animals.itself about the money Disgraceful if they get a cat or kitten they may be fluffy or a half pedigree they bump the price up to up to 350 or more or can have an animal pending for months
Clean and covid safe. Great setup to see dogs, cats and birds for adoption. Need cuddle bays that would enhance clearance of animals. It was nice to see disabled guests looking at fish and other offerings.
I would give the rspca 10 stars if I could the best organisation so much care for all our animals wild & domestic & supporting them means supporting the animals of Australia.
This place is brilliant. They do a fantastic job of look after the animals and finding new homes for them. Please rehome a pet.
A nice home, pet store and HQ for the good work the RSCPA are responsible for in animal welfare. Can visit to adopt a fully vet checked and vaxed rescue cat and / or dog in a great display area. Wed to Sat after 10am lets you see the range of felines and canines that are looking for new families and homes
Very modern and clean facility, extremely helpful and caring staff. Excellent customer service regardless of time of day. Animals are well cared for.
Added this gorgeous furball to our family!
All the animals appeared to be well nourished and with clean housing.
Appalling customer service on 3426 9999 number, I didn’t get her name but it was at 8: 29am Tuesday morning in relation to a dog on a balcony (that I could not see because it’s a tall apartment building). I mentioned that I had already called the council and they referred me. She told me there was nothing they could do in the legislation which isn’t good enough itself, but offered no further options and then she hung up. She is rude, abrupt and shouldn’t be taking customer calls.
We were well looked after, the animals appears to be well looked after and we had a positive experience.
The RSPCA shop was nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and gave good advice for questions I asked about my dog. The prices are reasonable.
Amazing staff, compassion and commitment ooze out of them. Facilities are exceptionally clean, animals all looked loved and attended to. My daughter adopted her first fur baby today (19yrs) and it was a wonderful experience for her. They allowed her to spend time with three cats before choosing her forever fur baby. At no point did we feel rushed or co-erced. All history about the cat was evident and shared so informed decisions could be made. I would highly recommend this centre. Gorgeous human beings looking after amazing animals.
I love what they stand for and that animals get a second chance at life.
But the staff always seem so sad or like they'd rather be someplace else
All dogs are kept clean and on show for people see.area where they stay are very clean and well looked after.later on you sit down have sandwich or cold drink or nice cuppa, what ever you want.
Wonderful place to adopt a pet. Staff is really caring. But adoption process is quite lengthy. You have to apply online. It takes 3 to 4 days to approve and does not guarantee the pet you want.
Waited 9 days to hear back about adopting a cat to finally being told we can pick her up and saying she just went over a vet check and is completely heathy to drive an hour to the RSPCA and find out she has cat flu and that it's a very bad idea to adopt her, this place has terrible communication and the man that was assigned to us was surprising rude for a volunteer why work there for free if you don't want to be there, I'd go to another rspca if I was you
I tried and tried to adopt and was never successful and I was told I was to old to adopt. Went to NSW and bought a puppy.
