The injections gave me a burning sensation for 3 months!

To not be force medicated is a human right.

When I went to the E. R they gave me Panadol and sent me home calling me a liar!

INSANE!

If my time is so important to you, as your recorded message keeps telling me. Then why TF am I still on hold 20 minutes later after you've randomly booked an appointment in Brisbane for me the day before a appointment you told me could be done over the phone

For Christ's sake communicate
We are going through enough if we have to be dealing with you.

From the time I got a call from Dr Vignash Raman the journey has been one of caring and professionalism. Admittance staff, doctors, nurses, wardies, catering, Trust staff, RBWH Foundation staff, musicians, Dr Goh and team, Dr Bettington and team, the radiologists, Cancer Burse Kelli.so many wonderful people.

I often receive messages on Facebook from a person named ``Hikaru Emika, '' a widow who has been admitted to this hospital and has only a short time to live. The request is to receive the inheritance through a courier and relay the donation to another location. It will make you a victim of fraud. It's a scam. Please be careful not to get caught.

The staff in this hospital are some of the most knowledgeable, caring, and proficient professionals in the country. I'd go so far as to say this is the best hospital in the state.

There are too many individuals to name specifically, but the Matetnal Fetal Medical unit, the surgical team, and the Neonatal ICU have been a source of strength when we needed it, compassionate when it was called for, and, most of all, plain old good at their jobs.

They literally saved our daughter. She only exists because of the people working here. Nothing else can matter more than that.

Do NOT come here for mental health issues. No matter how severe they are, you will be triaged as least priority and made to wait at least 4 hours to see a nurse, and then several more to see a doctor or social worker. Last time I came because I had psychosis and was terrified of being harmed or murdered and told them I couldn't stay home alone because I was too scared of going back there and had literally no support network. They made me wait 7+ hours, only to tell me that they could not help me. So I had to leave and find some random public place where I would be able to hide and at least feel safer than at home. I hadn't slept for days because I felt so unsafe. But they practically made me homeless despite the fact that I have somewhere to live. I just needed somewhere alternate to stay for a short time until my psychosis and panic got better. But all this hospital is interested in doing is persecuting people who are on community treatment orders and forcibly drugging them then kicking them out to whatever bad situation they find themselves in. Now I'm still scared and hallucinating and also suicidal because I know that no help is available for my illness or circumstances

I had an appointment with the burns unit today. The appointment was for 1pm and I left in disgust at 2 45pm. Had to drive all the way from Wellington Point and pay $20 for parking. Didn't even see a doctor

This Hospital refused to treat a disabled man with cancer, instead sending him to palliative care. After seeing a real doctor his Cancer was removed. This Hospital and it's doctors failed to uphold thier oath as health care providers and should be held accountable. The degeneration of my brothers quality off life is considerable because it's easier to drug the disabled. Come at me RBH!

I have just been diagnosed with nerve damage as a result of mistakes made during surgery 8 weeks ago. I have started treatment NOW 8 weeks later for nerve pain and nerve damage. I presented weekly here 4 times in excruciating pain and was dismissed each time. Panadol was the only advice given from the hospital. Now that I have been diagnosed with nerve damage it makes you look disgusting.

Definitely better than Caboolture Hospital, but still a long way to go in terms of decision making for the doctors, my wife had to visit the emergency 3 times before she received proper medication and medical treatment. If a patient is unwell then should make sure that patient first fully recovers before sending home. It causes a lot of anxiety for the patient and the family if patient keep running back and forth between the hospital and home. But still appreciate what you did for my wife, am grateful. Just wish it was a less hectic and disruptive.

Attended the nuclear clinic for a stress test today, the nicest people looked after me, and made the procedure that much more comfortable. True professionals, thank you very much.

My husband was treated there after a bike accident. All staff were very professional and caring. We felt very comfortable there in this hard situation.

The worst hospital to give birth to….
With what I experienced in this hospital I wouldn’t recommend anyone to give birth here I mean if u really care about ur mental health DO NOT GIVE BIRTH AT THIS HOSPITAL.

Until now I’m still recovering from the trauma and still don’t know what actually happened nd why I had to deliver my child early.

I experienced absolutely disgusting passive aggressive behaviour from a nurse tonight, I have now left after waiting 4 hours, (I did not get seen too) Yet this nurse had let other people in-front of me, I didn’t realise Severe head pain, Burning/numbness &Inflammation is not taken seriously.

The Nurse here was judgemental, Wanted to give me Panamax to Case the pain - No one was actually interested in helping or fixing wotever is going on.

Disgusting.

Big shout out to all the staff at the RBWH for their exemplary care of my 85 year old mum who recently underwent cancer surgery. I honestly cannot fault the medical teams and nursing staff at this hospital. In fact all the staff from the cleaners to the nurses to the doctors and the volunteers were amazingly helpful. They turned what could have been a very anxious time into a very positive experience. A heartfelt thanks to all.

Extremely disappointed with the Royal Brisbane. They treat men’s pain far more seriously than women’s in emergency, preferring to cannulate men to give them fentanyl for five out of ten pain as opposed to my ten out of ten pain to give me a schedule four medication that doesn’t manage my pain, leaving me without sleep all night. They dismiss a totally weak and numb leg and foot as self limiting and boot you out of hospital without orthopaedic review or a timely MRI, even though it then turns out to be almost emergency spinal surgery, and oh now it’s been over a month with a numb and weak foot and leg. And the behaviour of staff towards me for speaking up for myself…. I am so angry and upset I let private insurance go. It is not equal or satisfactory care.
