I am very happy with my recent purchase from Roundabout Antiques. The paperweight I bought is exactly as described and I love it. The parcel was well wrapped, and it arrived quickly.

I didn't use the correct terminology in my
email- I asked if they could come do some
quotes instead of asking them to come
make an offer. Robert was extremely
passive aggressive in the email and stopped
replying after I apologised and said this
wasn't my forte as I am trying to organise
on behalf of a family member. Why are
people so miserable and grumpy these
days? ! It's not that hard to be a nice person,
show some compassion! How do people
run businesses like this? !

Reply to your review- I emailed at 7: 08am and you replied in a passive aggressive way at 7: 13am, so you were able to reply super quickly when you had a rude response. So after waiting over 33 hours for a response I still hadn’t heard back. Also, you didn’t ask for photos. But you obviously read my reply to know all the extra information. I had given a few dates that my family member was available, as I said they were flying in from overseas. There was just no need to be rude in the email, just because I didn’t use the correct terminology for you. I can see I’m not the only person that’s had a issue with you being so rude. Maybe time to consider a different profession or let someone else do the admin side of things if you need to be so bitter and rude in your responses.

Brilliant service and amazing products from a friendly and very helpful business. I am a first-time purchaser from Roundabout Antiques, but I will definitely buy from them again. The Moorcroft I purchased are perfect, beautiful, and as described. And really good pricing as well. I thought the photos online were gorgeous, but the pieces are even more wonderful to hold and look at in person. And super-fast postage; can't believe how quickly my items arrived after the purchase date. All items were securely wrapped and packed with great care and concern. Very reasonable combined postage on two items.

Rude and demeaning. After inquiring about a potential reduction in on a stocked item for my elderly father I was given a lecture by email even though the item in question is in some cases double the price it can be purchased for in the UK including delivery.
I would not purchase from someone so rude.

I have bought quite a number of items from Roundabout Antiques and have always found them accurate with their descriptions. As well, they always deal with my orders straightaway. They are packaged beautifully and have always arrived safely. I'm always happy dealing with this particular company and certainly love the items I have bought. I have known Mike, Wendy and Rob for 45 years now if my memory serves me correctly and from whenever i have had business dealings from back in those early days everything has been handled with courtesy, diligence and complete professionialism i highly recommend there business for your complete and total satisfaction. In relation to valuations nobody should expect time spent to evaluate and estimate items or a consignment without charging a fee which i would expect to gladly pay either do that or send it to auction then expect that to be free as well
