Was easy to order, quick delivery, quality of goods brilliant and the staff checking to make sure we got our item was a rarity. I have also visited the store personally and always been pleased with the goods and service. Would recommend highly.

I was able to purchase a very hard to find LP from Rockaway and the delivery was very quick, especially being just before Christmas. Will order from here again!

I purchased a handful of lucky dip bags, one of the bags being completely unplayable and one of the records in the other bag has mold on the label.

I also purchased a Bjork record, I asked the lady at the counter if it was an original pressing (I had a feeling that it wasn't going to be due to the price ($50) but at least an older pressing) the lady at the counter looked at the copy right year and said yes. When I was home I looked into the record for my self and found that it wa reissue from a few years ago.

Spoke to two of the company’s reps who were able to assist with an issue I had purchasing on line. Problem was solved quickly and I was able to make my purchase (vinyl record cleaning kit). Very happy with assistance provided and product purchased.

Always exciting deals on offer and although staff don't go out of their way to greet you, their assistance is still valuable

I bought my first record back in 2015 at Rockaway! My tastes have been ever-changing since, but whatever I am into at the moment I always manage to find something I like! They have very fair pricing, both with buying and exchanging - I recall being offered the exact number I had in my head on the couple of occasions I’ve exchanged! They have a great selection, not excluding the $10 crates - you can often find some absolute gems in there still in very nice condition!

Really love coming in to this store! All the staff are so nice and helpful because they’re so knowledgeable! Very approachable and funny to!

Well, if going by the $9.99 price tag for a used Englebert Humperdink 7" of The Last Waltz is anything to go by, my box of Kamahl, Harry Secombe and Jim Nabours L. P's should be able to secure myself a home loan if I sell 'em at the equivalent prices. There is some quality music amongst the chaff if you're prepared to look, but my eye kept drifting to the corners at the price tag, and in general made me feel sick to the stomach, thus ending my three and a half minutes in the store. There is more than just records there, with some wonderful memorabilia items and posters etc.

Love this music shop. So hard to find one of these nowadays. Cassette tapes, music VHS, CD's or vinyl, no problem and such a great selection too. Next time you're at Westfield Carindale, be sure to pay a visit.

Rockaway records is such a cool shop. They have some one of a kind vintage collectables, music items and some really cool shirts. It’s a must visit for a unique gift.

Sellers beware. I failed to do my homework before accepting Rockaway Records offer when I sold approximately 15 records from my collection. After a 15-minute assessment I was provided a final offer of $100 cash (i.e. $7 each), that in retrospect I foolishly accepted.

I discovered the very next week one record alone was retailing for $50. I found some of the other records for sale and these totalled over $600. Not a bad mark up @ 600%+.

In summary, they saw an opportunity in me and they took it. And so I recommend if you are selling to Rockaway Records that you do your homework beforehand and treat this exercise as you would in dealing with any street vendor – barter, haggle or walk away as I should of.

CUSTOMER SERVICE LIVES.these guys are incredible.they were flat out with Christmas trade.yet still found the time to serve my 11 yr old son and take apart their display of a Beatles shirt and then give him a discount.thank you for your kindness and showing kids that engaging and being kind goes a long way.with Ace saying " Mum we can ONLY buy band shirts here now"

Sorry for the late response. This was quite a while ago now but I remember vividly how the guy at the counter was talking to his friend, and their subject matter quickly changed towards me and my sister as we entered the shop, they weren't talking quietly or even trying to hide it, they glared at us as we approached the counter before and after buying our items making both of us feel extremely uncomfortable. Hate to be that guy or seem fragile but we were getting extremely hostile vibes from them. Haven't been back since, will never go back or even walk past it because it reminds me of that day.

A friend in Qld sent me a link to one tour book on the Rockaway website & before I knew it I was deep diving into an amazing & eclectic list of vintage tour books I could not pass up. 12 tour books purchased, well packaged & promptly send to me in Melbourne. Amazing service from Scott & I'll be sure to keep checking for new listing's. Thanks heaps!
