My 7 year old son has fairly intense food aversion. He loves Hot Cross Buns though.
Has tried them all.
Gave him one from here without telling him where it was from. One bite in. "this is the best Hot Cross Bun ever".

Unfortunately the whole Rock and Roll marketplace is very overpriced. The quality of product is usually reasonable but it's just not good value.
I also had a bad experience the other day when I took two small children to the RnR bakery which had items in the (unrefrigerated) cabinet but was unstaffed. The marketplace employee told me I couldn't buy anything that was in the cabinet so instead I ended up paying $21 (!) for biscuits on the shelf for the kids.
Maybe if they're not selling anything they could remove the products from the bakery cabinet so people don't get their hopes up.

Absolutely recommend! Ordered fruit and cheese platters for my birthday party and they were beautifully presented, outstanding quality and very very good value. I was also made to feel so special by the team when they found out it was for my party. Thank you for making my day:)

Would not shop anywhere else! Amazing team lead by April assisted by Kate. The best deli/ fruit shop in Brisbane always fresh delicious salads and fresh rolls ready to go.

Everyone here is somehow the nicest human being. Also, they play great music that always makes me laugh with the randomness of selection. They have a range of specialty things that I love to look through and try. I look forward to coming here every week for my produce shop.

The service can be very hit and miss. Bought a $21 salad not filled up, asked the lady to fill the container up, which to be quite frank should not have to be spoken when paying premium prices. Container slammed down on counter with "anything else". Yeah - Merry Christmas and here's a review of your rude customer service and stingy servings.

Lovely fresh fruit and veg that lasts WAY longer than the stuff you find at the grocery chains. The sandwiches and other deli products in the fridge area are lovely. Great spot for your weekly groceries

We were looking for a place to order a birthday cake for my 3 year old daughter. This bakery came as a recommendation from a friend. We stopped by the store about 2 weeks in advance and ordered a medium sized vanilla sponge cake with butter cream icing. The cake exceeded our expectations and got many compliments from our friends at the party. Would highly recommend this place. Not to mention all the in-house baked goods as well. Will definitely be coming back here for our next cake.

Love Rock N Roll Marketplace and have been shopping there for over 20 years. The meat and produce are very high quality and always extremely tasty, the variety snd choice is larger than most other markets and I always find something new to try The staff are lovely and yhe service is fast.

Good quality produce at good prices.
Butcher is friendly, with a wide range of options at a fair price.
The bakery has very decent coffee and EXCELLENT baked goods. The baked goods are a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Purchased a 'Chicken, Avo and Brie' roll from the deli this morning all ready for lunch - costed $9.20 no biggie its usually really good quality. Upon inspection I noticed that it infact had 2 tiny 2- 3cm pieces of Avocado and NO Brie cheese on it whatsoever. Tried to contact the business but no answer.normally I absolutely love Rock n Roll but this really makes me question the price and the effort to maintain the standards. I also seem to not be able to upload photos but they can be made available if needed.

Exceptional bakery, fruit and vege and butchers shop. Great products and service. The lamb vindaloo pie is amazing on a cold winters day

Excellent fruit market with a wide range of goods as well the normal fruit and veg. Baker in the complex is one of the best in Brisbane.
