They charge me extra 30 dollars for a hat I got there, the hat has was tagged 260 and they charged me 299, they are delivered changing prices to take advantage of clients.

Terrible customer service. The rude women behind the counter don't know how to use their new iPhone eftpos machines (which never work because of bad internet in the shopping centre). Only come here if you want to deal with gronks.

I bought my first pair of r m Williams boots at this store. The boots squeaked every step i took and needed to be replaced. The replacement boots still squeak. The customer service at the store was average to poor. You speak to a different person each time you call them and their repair service took a lot longer than they advised. This is the most money I have ever spent on a pair of boots (over $600!) any they make an annoying sound with every step. I won’t be buying r m Williams again. Maybe they used to be a good product but not anymore.

23/10 around 1: 00PM - First time at RM, and the customer service was so questionable. I came in asking for a specific style, colour, and size of men’s boots (should have been a very straight-forward, quick transaction). There was nothing on show, or in the store room, and the lady couldn’t be bothered to check their inventory upstairs, so she tried selling me a different size? Finally convinced her I was sure about the size I needed, so she went to check their upstairs inventory and came back with a different colour, trying to convince me it’s basically the same as what I wanted (if it’s the same - why sell 2 different shades at all? !).
Told her that’s not what I’m looking for, and I asked if there are any other stores nearby. She said the CBD store might have it, but there’s no way she can check. I said no worries, thanked her, and left - I wasn’t even 1 minute walk away from the store, and I had already called the CBD to confirm they had the boots I was after.
I ended up buying the boots from the CBD store in a 5 min transaction, from a super kind sales man, so I’m sure the lady at this store doesn’t represent everyone in the RM Williams chain! I’m glad these boots last years, because that’s how long I’ll need to recover from such poor customer service

Pammy was the most helpful and knowledgeable lady I've ever spoken with and helped immensely in my decision to purchase some boots. 10/10 would recommend her and this store to everyone I know.

The customer service in this store on Saturday 18th June was excellent. The staff were not overbearing and came across as genuinely wanting to help me with selecting the right fit for trousers. I usually visit stores in the north side or city but am now more than happy to travel to Indooroopilly after this great experience.

Highly dependent on luck of the draw as to who serves you. Unfortunately I was assisted by someone who was quite dismissive and condisending when she discovered I had purchased my boots from the RM Williams online store rather from their store. Unintersted in helping check to see if I needed to swap sizes, insisting instead that I needed to deal with RM Williams online and that she didn't want to help even measure to check if I had purchased the correct size so that I could choose the correct size to exchange online.

Great customer service from the lad that served us. Was looking to get a specific pair of boots which he ended up finding for me. He was also looking to get me what I wanted in other stores if they didn't have it. Was happy for me to try all different sizes to make sure I was getting the best fit. 10/10 service.

A huge thank you to Felicity for helping my partner find the right pair of boots that would suit her feet. The store was very busy but she was able to multi task as well as give fantastic customer service. Highly recommend the Indooroopilly store

Did not feel welcome at all. Rude customer service. Expect that behaviour at target… not RM Williams when I’m dropping $700 on a pair of boots.

Shoe was not made well. Husband suffered damaged ligament to his foot from wearing shoes that is not made well. We returned the shoes for repair to be told, it was so up to head office to decide on next steps. What a joke for a $500 pair of shoes.

Excellent service.
My husband received a birthday present of an RMs belt, however; already had the same belt. Living in North Queensland, he went to the Myer Centre RM Williams store. Apparently they're not able to swap products as it was bought from an actual RM store (confusing, and contradictory to the website, but ok) as there was no RM store in Townsville, he called up the Indro store to see what could be done. The staff could not be more helpful and have sent a postage bag to us in order for us to do an exchange and said we could pay the difference over the phone. They went over the process with him and he will soon have a lovely new pair of boots.

Pammy was amazing. She was helpful, warm and professional. My twin boys who had just turned 18 were treated to their first pair of RM Williams. Pammy made the experience fantastic. We were blown away by her caring and helpful nature. Thank you so much for for making this family experience one we will remember. Thanks Pammy.

Had a pretty disheartening experience at this store. Went in for warranty assistance over issues with my newly purchased boots of which they refused to help me as I purchased the boots from an online retailer. When I explained that I have had previous RM Williams stores helped me previously, they told me that was wrong and that I shouldn't have received such help as I need to go to my online retailer. The issue was a clear warranty issue and all I needed was a repair, an online retailer would not be able to assist me with that. After holding my boots for a couple of hours I received a phone call stating that I wasn't going to receive any help and I had to come back to the store and pick my boots up. I felt really heartbroken, I purchased these $500+ boots which had an issue that needed to be fixed and was refused help. I knew my online retailer would not be of help, these boots were a month old and all I needed was a repair. I assumed that from purchasing from an online retailer that I would be able to reach out to RM William store fronts for warranty claims, but according to the various staff at indooroopilly, they will contravene your consumer rights and refuse to help you have your boots repaired:) I have a feeling they didn't trust me, that they thought I was trying to be dishonest to them, but if they asked further questions and asked for proof of purchase, I would have gladly provided proof.

Luckily, I ended up ringing another store who told me that they would be willing and able to send my boots off repair and assist me. This store also put my details/boots in the system for further warranty claims. This other store also informed me that because I purchased my boots from a registered distributor that I would be able to receive help from RM William store fronts. I am so grateful for this other store and to the staff there who understood the investment I made into these boots and their responsibilities under Australian consumer law!

All this review is for is to warn other customers over warranty issues, don't waste your time. I was incredibly inconvenienced by them and treated fairly poorly in my opinion.
