Wonderful experience here. Was recommended RMW by a few Aussie friends and wanted to see what the hype was about. Sarah took care of everything; walked us through different colors, styles, and types of leather. Patient enough to deal with opinions switching 5 times on our final choice. Have worn then nonstop for the last 5 days and there’s no break-in soreness whatsoever. Have received many compliments. Chestnut goes with everything. Unfortunately this will not be my last pair.

Terrible service (or racist?). Walked in with intention to buy an accessory. I know it’s busy but no one came to me for assistance. At the same time, all the white customers are accompanied by a staff. When I was checking out, the lady just greeted me with no feelings, I could tell it seemed forced. If I didn’t correct her, the lady wanted me to pay $99 instead of the tagged price $69. Unpleasant experience in general, will not recommend to friends.

Doing some xmas shopping for a belt and the lovely staff polished my boots free of charge in addition. Excellent customer service

Don’t bother going there for the customer service. Can’t get over how rude, unfriendly and not helpful this women was! It’s not like it’s a “cheap store”. What a horrible experience.

I called to see if a scarf I wanted was in stock. The girl Kirrilee said it was and her exact words were, “”I’ll put it behind the counter for you”. I explained I would park in the city, and run in, and I’d see her soon. There was no scarf, I ran in to be told they couldn’t find it. All fine but their attitude snd inclination to help me find one in time for my friend flying overseas tonight was truly nonchalant. A bloke called Matt basically told me, tough. Awful service, and awful attitudes, and I’m a long-term customer who don’t be back.

Store layout was immaculate and my partner and I were keen to check it out after a walk through the botanic gardens. Upon entry, we were confronted by an employee asking if we “were here to steal. ” Absolutely humiliating treatment from the staff and an appalling way to treat visitors to the store. Do better.

The shoes are great but the brand and service is what drives this low review. I have been to many RM Williams stores around Australia and I have to say never been to one that has welcoming staff. Always feel judged and looked down upon. I have spent thousands on RM Williams boots/ belts etc over the years and the service is slowly becoming worse. I would expect more from such an heritage rich company that prides itself in workmanship.

The last visit to the Queen St store I was intending to spend over $3000 on gifts for family and the process to even get someone to assist was terrible. The same lady I have bought countless pairs of boots from still cannot recognise me. I get better service from the local petrol station. Anywho I spent that $3000 at the David Jones store which the older gentle men provide amazing service and knowledge. He knows more about the brand than the employees working directly for RM.

Slowly I am falling out of love with this brand and soon will no longer purchase anything from them.

Unfortunately the young woman serving us came across as unprofessional as she was smacking gum while talking to us, wasn’t overly friendly, and asked us if we were ‘buying today’ before we could try on (which we did buy). Presumably because we weren’t in designer clothes? Who knows, but the store was pretty empty so no excuses there. Disappointing experience when spending a high price on items. Love the brand, not the store

For 15 years I’ve been a boot wearer and today I had been planning a visit to the store. I wanted to understand a little more about the versatile boots that my feet have called home over what feels like a lifetime.

Sarah was the RMXpert that welcomed me to the store. Her knowledge, passion for all things RM but understanding what I was after and the roadmap of boots that would deliver my next 10 years of homes for my feet was absolutely astounding.

If you’re a long timer wearer and want to understand more about the designs, finishes and options, I would recommend a visit to the store.

Thank you for taking the time and I look forward to ordering my next pair soon.

I had an exceptional experience at this store. A young girl by the name of Charli went absolutely above and beyond in ensuring my 85 year old grandpa had the best boot for his birthday. He loved it! Thank you Charli for your service, will be a returning customer!

You're going to love anything you buy from this store, 100% absolute quality and beautiful leather. Yes it's expensive but lasts a lifetime. Helpful staff that love what they sell, although they did not have my size boot due to being sold out, they did size me up so I know what RM boot size I would be and recommend I buy online for the model and could I was requesting.

Lucky to get two stars really, one for the socks, another for offering to find a pair of shoes at another store and letting me know when stock arrives - stood holding a shoe to try for a solid ten minutes, I have no issues waiting, but I do have an issue with being completely and utterly ignored, no hello, no ‘we’ll be with you in a minute’, I might as well have not existed - I’ll buy my shoes online, this store does not deserve my sale

The disparity of customer service between the older, blonde attendant and other staff is day and night.

After two infrequent visits I’ve had the displeasure of being served by her and can only assume she is some form of manager otherwise she wouldn’t be there.

It’s sad to see a bricks and mortar store lack a high level of service but can definitely be reflected in their closure or stores.

A great product without great service.

It’s clear there are multiple reviews of this same person but any attempt to rectify behaviour or social issues seems non-existent.

My only concern is that this service is then translated down to other team members (as seen from newer hires). I hold out hope that other attendants continue to go or the brand name.

I went in to discuss a fitting issue with the RM Williams boots I own and received friendly, helpful and honest advice about how to fix the issue where many other companies would probably have tried to steer me towards a sale. Thank you!

Super lovely and helpful staff. This is our go-to RM store. Not sure what the bad reviews are about as I've never had a negative experience before.
