Had the best experience today, Francesca at the Chermside store was very helpful fitting me perfectly after my previous boots which were the wrong size for me (fitted at a different store)

Could not believe it when our server, Naree, told us she had never worked in retail before. She could sell ice to an eskimo. Very happy with her patience, help and service. Only problem was we spent more than we intended too!

Bought some jeans today, I love this store. Lots of stock, quality product. Dealt with a young lady called Yas, she was prompt, friendly and very professional. Highly recommend this business.

A huge thanks to Natt, who went above and beyond to find me the boots that I wanted. This is my second pair of R. M. Williams boots, they fit perfectly, and are so comfortable.

As a brand it seems like promotion is more important than quality and quality of product. RM Williams has been a go to brand for me over a few decades.

Over the last few years, stock range has declined and the number and size of outlets have been reduced. Long standing staff have disappeared.

Some products are good but others no longer have the toughness that I once associated with the brand.

This shop is a shadow of what it once was.

I no longer feel connected to the brand, what a shame but I am sure RM Williams is impervious to this sort of commentary.

I recently went to the Chermside RM Williams to ask about a pair of boots I had been eyeing off for sometime but was not sure if it would suit me while on holidays in Brisbane. A lovely employee by the name of Isabelle helped me with my sizing and fitting ensuring that my feet would not rub to much as I tend to have a quite a wide foot.
After the fitting I was indecisive as to what boot colour I would choose and Isabelle did not hesitate in asking her fellow sales assistant Sarah for advice who proceeded to help also.
It did not seem like to much work for one sale for them both to show attentiveness and enthusiasm in helping me purchase my first pair of RM Williams boots.
They truely made the whole boot fitting process an experience and I'm so glad they were there to help me.
Wish they had this same type of service at my local store in Ballarat.

So very disappointing. I bought my first pair of RM boots 10 years ago and they were comfortable from the first day I wore them. Bought a new pair in June and was given a different model and size, but trusted they knew best and they had an exchange option. The boots have been too tight and uncomfortable since, much less comfortable than my first pair. I was hoping to exchange them for a larger size or different style, within the 60 day exchange period, but they would not exchange them as I had been wearing them. The exchange option is therefore practically worthless. Make sure you are 100% happy with your sizing before you leave the store and trust your gut, as it’s a lot of money to spend to end up unhappy and reluctant to wear them.

Bought shoes for both myself and wife. Mine were swapped in size and had to go in again to get original size. But the wife's shoes had to be ordered in on the proviso of fitment. The shoes were a challenge to get in and nearly impossible to get off. But the sales lady refused to listen and told my wife she was wrong, the boots have to be tight.good shoes just Kmart service.

This company should definitely take a good look at the people they are hiring, Mary O.was incredibly rude to my partner and was constantly talking back to her in the most condescending way. Gave us a pair of boots that had a massive crease as if other people - a lot of other people at that - had worn them. Returned them 20 minutes later and went somewhere else.

If you are being paid to deal with customers, and we are coming in with the intention of spending a large amount of money, why do you have to be so rude and condescending? I don't understand!

Great brand. Quality product, lasts forever. Very helpful and friendly staff too. Highly recommend this brand, you don't need a pair of "nice leather shoes", you need a pair of RMs mate.

I had always wanted some RM’s so I finally went to purchase them. Usually I’m a size 10 or maybe a 9 sometimes which I told the lady working but she said she would size me up and measured my feet telling me I’m a size 7 or 8. I know different shoes have different sizing so I didn’t think much of it but the 7 was so small I couldn’t even get my foot in and I just squeezed into the size 8, but they were so tight and hurt to wear. I told this to the lady who sized me up but she said they’re all like that when they’re new and the leather will stretch and they’ll become much more comfortable. I’ve been wearing them 5 days a week for work for the past couple of months waiting for them to soften up using the leather conditioner as well and everyday my feet hurt because the size is too small. I love the shoes but hate wearing them as they make my feet hurt and I feel like it’s been too long to ask for a refund. Pretty disappointed as I was excited to buy some RMs and they were pretty expensive for $600. If you buy from here make sure you are sized correctly!

Isobelle was polite & helpful when I came in, she was very diligent to get the right fit for my boots and recommended great options to complete my look for an event. She was very friendly and created a great retail experience.

Great service. I have never felt a pair of shoes that fit the way these do. Was measured and fitted properly. Love the style of these boots and was given really good advice from the staff. 10/10

After wearing my Aquilas daily for about a year, they were already falling apart at the soles, not to mention they were still uncomfortable and sore after a long day at work. I walked in just wanting a quality pair of boots that will last. I forget the name of the man who served me, but he recommended me exactly what I was after and sized me up perfectly. The second I put them on (comfort craftsman) they were instantly more comfortable than the shoes I'd broken in all year Could not be happier with the service and product. You honestly get what you pay for and I'd recommend these to anyone after a pair that will last them for years. It's only been a month since I bought them but I'm still as happy as the day I got them
