Dr Captan Beck is the most helpful professional doctor I have ever seen. He goes above and beyond to ensure I have the best treatment and help possible.
I see doctor beck and he’s absolutely amazing! He listens to me and try’s the best he can to help and even advocates for me when necessary to get help I need!
Quick, easy check in/out with reception - polite and helpful. Thorough consultation with Dr Aslam - I felt heard and felt I was in good hands. I have no issues with Dr’s running late and waiting. Speaks volumes about the attention given by the Doctor. If a patient knows their apt will be a complex consult, I feel booking a double appointment is fair to other patients and the GP - waiting periods will then be minimized for others.
The reception staff at this centre, have by far the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. They are terribly rude and disrespectful to everyone that comes there that I’ve witnessed. I understand that they might meet some people that struggle with interpersonal skills, but they themselves are just toxic. Every single time I’ve been there, there’s especially one woman that works the desk and I say politely and in a super friendly tone “hi how are you today? ” And she will blankly and rudely just stare back at me as if I’m an inconvenience to her life, to which I will repeat my question until she acknowledges me respectfully. She’s bloody rude! Get new receptionists that have quality customer service, you’re a medical centre, you will be dealing with vulnerable people every single day. Do better! Your RECEPTIONISTS let you down as a clinic. It’s disgusting

I tried several times calling this number and it took me almost an hour until i decided to stop ringing them.
Doctors are so wonderful and experienced Practitioners. New staff at reception make you feel welcome. Great service overall.
Didn’t call back for Telehealth appointment. Didn’t let me know about cancellation. Showing attended appointment on HotDoc. Probably charged to Medicare also. I wasted so much time waiting. Lady at reception (Tiara) wasn’t courteous at all. Would have given 0 stars if that was possible.
Great place. Love that it still bulk bills for the time being whilst other nearby places don't. Was a bit of a shame that I had to wait 30 minutes for my appointment as the doctor didn't show up until after my appointment and the person before me. However, the actual appointment was super quick and I got what I needed with no issues.
Takes 2 or 3 days on the phone to try and make an appointment and you can't tell me there busy 24/7
Dr Zahra was very helpful and so were Brooke and Tara the Admin staff who set up appointments, etc. All of them are very pleasant people.
****UPDATE**** I booked an appointment to see Dr Beck as my normal GP is away and a friend recommended I go see him.
HE IS AWESOME! He was bright and bubbly. I felt comfortable and safe. He was attentive and gave me some really good advice. He pulls no punches which I honestly appreciate and he was diligent in helping me. He listens to what you need. Most of all I was a whole day early to my appointment but he still saw me anyway! The receptionist I saw today was just kind and lovely. Overall my visit today was really good. So I’m changing my review from a one star to a four. Thank you for today.
I definitely do not recommend Dr Aslam. Both times appointments made and both times she was an hour and half late. Not only that but she made no apology, and couldn't get me out the door fast enough. While she made one telehealth call she didn't even give me time to ask her questions about my diagnosis! The call itself was less than 2 minutes before she hung up. She also missed a telehealth call with me! If it wasn't for the lovely ladies on reception this review would be so much worse. They are so accommodating and caring and were always apologetic for Dr Aslam incompetencies. Trying to re-schedule me or finding out what was happening. So thank you ladies. Just unfortunate you have a Dr who is letting down the practise.
After a horrific experience with an extremely rude receptionist I’m thankful to have come across Tara recently. She was extremely caring, polite and helpful with my children while waiting to see the doctor.
Reception staff have been wonderful providing colouring in for the kids while waiting and helping me settle unwell children and then we were lucky to receive a call from the wonderful Tara to find out we had won the Christmas colouring competition! Have also felt heard and cared for by my Doctor and not rushed out the door. Thank you to all the staff at Riverlink Medical Centre
Absolutely the worst medical centre and I only ever use when seriously desperate for scripts only not an actual medical problem requiring a real doctor, I would give zero stars if possible. They don’t even notify you if they cancel your Telehealth appointment, and don’t care if you can’t obtain scripts for medicine required from cancelled appointment - I wonder how many people have ended up seriously sick from the incompetence of this centre? I’ll be checking if they claimed the bulk billing from Medicare too.
Expect to wait your life away and be misdiagnosed. Had 9 people in front of me for dr Aslam so waited 2 hours to be seen and it took me 3.5 minutes timed and i was out. Didn't address my issues, never took BP etc which was the issue nor tell me about last blood test results. Its not difficult. Each patient books a 15 minute appointment. Why and how would you be 2 hours behind nearly every time? She spends more time walking around the office area than in her office. I understand you need lunch breaks but them don't book appointments for that break. So had to go elsewhere to be seen by a capable dr. The other option we had here is dr Robolado who told my pregnant wife, who went to him with an abnormally high BP, to take BP tablets and rest. She was rushed to the hospital for an emergency C section from pre-eclampsia 2 hours later and was in a critical condition. If you can't perform your duties as a GP properly and to Australian standards then how and why are you licenced? And I've seen abandoned homes cleaner than this place. But I'm sure nothing will be done as this is still the lowest rated place in ipswich.
Receptionist Tara and alot of the other women that work in the medical centre have always looked after our family nd been so polite and welcoming they give colourings to the kids just to make it alot more bareable for us parents while we wait and our son alone enjoys it alot as he has made the wall. Definitely a 5 start rating.
