River Quay Fish

VERY DISAPPOINTING. HALF THE ITEMS ON THE MENU WERE UNAVAILABLE.
We came to your restaurant bringing together, family from 3 countries to say farewell. This is likely to be the last time we would be together.
My elderly parents (who were paying) love seafood, and this seemed like the perfect location and menu for us.
Upon arrival, 2x main seafood options were unavailable (oysters and Qld King Prawns).
By the time we ordered, crab was also unavailable, along with pork belly. My father was very disappointed indeed - as was I for recommending and booking the restaurant.
You can’t undo the disappointment on our last family meal together.

We went there for NYE and for upwards of $130 per person, we were greeted to bland, raw steak and mushy, sad rissotto. Would be disappointed if I was served this at a local pub. Would not even think about going there again. Very disappointed.

Amazing place with a great view of the river. It's quite a small restaurant which meant it was nice and quiet. The food was absolutely amazing, I got the fish and chips and my girlfriend got the fish tacos and both were spectacular. Definitely coming back.
P. S.don't skip on desert, the cake is amazing too

Such great service from Cooper, loved the food from Lakhvir and the atmosphere on a mild spring night was awesome! We will be back.

We were served by Cooper who greeted us so warmly and was so incredibly attentive (without being intrusive) and understood the menu well

We had the fish tacos, Moreton bay bug bao and warmed olives, all were fantastic

Definitely recommend and hope that Cooper is working next time we visit

Spectacular views, mouthwatering food and superb staff, friendly and attentive but the star of the show is Julian.
A location full of charm by the Brisbane river, makes this restaurant a great choice if you want to have some yummy seafood in a great location at an affordable price.

Seafood restaurant with no Scallops, no lobster, and. I seafood pizza, but have. Vegetarian pizza, and hamburgers

Beautiful location and exquisite food. Staff are professional and extremely knowledgeable. A must do in Brisbane. Really enjoyed the meal myself and my partner had at River Quay Fish.

Waited over 20 mins with no service whatsoever not even a drink order. Greeted by a rude young man with a very poor attitude. Live at the Parkland and can’t see us going back. Happy to talk to the owner/manager about our experience as we don’t enjoy giving bad reviews.

Our third Christmas lunch at River Quay Fish. Outstanding! Service and food five stars - cannot recommend highly enough! YUM!

An OK option for fish and chips at Southbank. Quite expensive for a medium sized serving of fish and chips, of which the fish was well overcooked. The saving grace is the location, with takeaway (incl.alcohol) available to eat on the grass - great for energetic kids who don't like sitting at tables inside!

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant in a prime spot along the Brisbane river. Normally these places peddle average food taking full advantage of the location. Not here! Food was great and service was lovely. Pro tip: Take a chance on the Bao Buns with Moreton Bay Bug! The chips are delicious as well.

Attended a Christmas party there and the food was outstanding. The location right by the river cannot be beat either.

Really disappointed in our experience. The lady who greeted was very abrupt and rude, we could hear her complaining to all the other diners about how short staffed and over worked they were. We ordered the RQF seafood platter and the watermelon lychee cocktail jug. The cocktail was average at best, but most disappointing was the seafood platter. For $85 we didn’t expect much, but to have 6 prawns, 4 oysters, a tiny bit of salmon and a crab with almost no meat was a bit of a joke. The seafood was barely cold aswell. The view was nice, but we definitely don’t recommend.

Anna made the milestone birthday celebration of my son so memorable because of the very fine food, the detailed service and the delightful venue. Anna watched us carefully to ensure all our needs were met and looked after us so well and she even prepared birthday cake for my son and sang happy birthday. Thank you so much for the experience and will definitely comeback!
