Such great service, my partner accidentally ordered a spider made with soft served ice cream (she's pregnant and can't eat soft serve) after realizing our mistake, staff offered to remake the drink.

Rick's Garage requires a visit if you're headed near Palmwoods. This unique venue offers great food, drinks, and atmosphere and has become a hotspot for visitors.

Seating: inside, outside (shaded) and on the balcony.

Theming: rustic diner/pub with, as the name implies, a vintage motorist vibe and decorations.

Service style: friendly staff. Order/pay at the counter and have your food delivered to the table. Buy drinks at the bar (one downstairs and one upstairs).

Menu: American diner style such as fries, wings, burgers, chicken and waffles, salads, shakes, Apple crumble.

Unfortunately I have to change my review. The quality of the food, and serving sizes, has taken a dive. I had to return the first serving of chips. I felt bad returning the second serving and so ate what I could.

Very cool decor and the space was lovely, with a cool 18+ bar upstairs. Burgers were okay, they could be a little bit bigger with more fillings - my burger had bacon in it but it was one tiny strip. The service was a bit sloppy, the girl who came over with our first lot of burgers didn't even know what she was putting down in front of us. She came over and said "here guys I have the two burgers" like really? We all had ordered different burgers so it's not they were just all the same order. Also one of the waiters was checking tables for stuff to clear - looked directly at our pile of finished plates and bowls twice and still turned around and didn't take them. The music was nice to listen to. Overall I'd recommend giving it a go, just for the experience.

The beer garden and the quirky decor are the main attractions, it's nicely set out, with shaded and sunny areas. The food is nice, with good selection of burgers.
The cleaning and maintenance of the tables need attention.garden tables were dirty.verandah tables, the chair material was ripped on nearly every seat.

Amazing diner with all the character you would want. Great soundtrack. Attentive staff. Food excellent. Will be back.

Good food, friendly staff, a little hard to park. Jam night has competent Musos, but very lounge level volume.a little ‘tame’.

Excellent place to go to. Food was quite good and not too pricey. Indoor or outdoor seating we chose outdoor as it was a great day. Very popular and busy. Staff were moving quickly and efficiently. Worth a try

Had a brilliant day going for a run on the bikes. First time for me to visit Rick's garage. Awesome to see such a great example of top quality bikes and cars. Loved it.

I like the outside garden area, it has lots of nooks and crannys for feeling of privacy. Good quick service by the waiting staff. Let down some what by the chicken burger that slid as soon as I picked it up to eat. Tasty fries!

Always love Ricks! However, I wish there were more options when wanting a snack - nearly everything is fried.

Went in for some burgers for dinner and I can say they are top notch. I had the works with a side of chips. I am leaving off a star because the table we were offered was dirty.

One of the best burgers I have had for a long time. They are massive - definitely filling and very well priced. Decor is great as well and creates an awesome atmosphere.

Great food and fast service! Meals are huge and filling, love coming here with a group of friends have a few drinks with some good food.

Amazing venue with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Wide selection of food and drinks. Great and friendly staff that make you very welcomed and look after you. Definitely recommend.

ALWAYS A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT ON THE SUNSHINE COAST GREAT BURGERS AND PLENTY TO SEE. WEEKENDS GET BUSY BUT WORTH IT FOR THE CAR AND BIKE SHOW OUT THE FRONT.
