Reverse Garbage QLD Co-Op Ltd. reviews
60This is a great shop to find interesting objects that commercial businesses no longer need or discard. Great place to find items for props or craft.
Just awesome - so glad I found this place. Amazing resources for any crafters and nice, helpful people
Really creative use of repurposed materials in the excellent gift shop. Living the recycling dream
A place of wonder and delight. You never know what amazing thing you will find. The have regular restocks so there's always plenty of materials to go around. Friendly & helpful staff and then theres the Emporium full of things made from recycled marterials.
Parking during the week is awful (and some of the parking efforts are truly inspirationally bad).
They have cool stuff for cheap and some stuff which is so overpriced but it's cool as!
This place is amazing! I love going ever first or second weekend? What they do is just amazing, and good for recycling!
Love reverse garbage, love the staff and the whole idea behind it.
I usually donate a collection of coconut smelling green plastic balls which are always well received.
Love the great bits and pieces I always unearth here. Mount board, fabric pieces and old door furniture are particular strengths. But much, much more and great value depending on your needs.
This is a special place to fossic for materials to be creative with. Regular visits are fruitful because stock changes quite rapidly. There is always wood, cardboard, paper, fabric, plastics, rubber, metals, glass, electrical components and many types of used container or offcuts.
Treasure trove warehouse for our arts and crafts days. Love the $5 fill a bag aisle where we got foam, fabric, plastics, rope and cardboards for our art. Lots of electrical bits, fabric samples, cardboard rolls, trophy’s, tins and boxes, metals, bottle caps, wood and more. Love this place.
Always plenty of interesting bits and bobs for the crafty minded. If possible I'd recommend training in as parking on Burke St can be a bit of a hassle.
Yesterday was my first ever visit to Reverse Garbage and Holy Treasure Trove Batman!
As soon as you enter, it is almost a sensory overload filled with such a huge assortment of bits and pieces, some of which you didn't even know you needed until now. Computer parts, fabric strips and on the bolt, craft accessories, negative film strips and the fill a bag for $5, $10 & $25 isle are just a tiny amount of what they have on offer.
Behind the counter was a wonderfully helpful and wildly entertaining gentleman named Sam. He made our trip so much more enjoyable. He is a huge asset to your business.
There is an amazing gallery at the back with local artists and crafters items for sale on the way out. To top it all off, there is a cool little cafe next door for your caffeine fix afterwards.
Definitely a 5 star experience!
This place puts a very literal spin on, "One man's trash is another man's treasure. " Come here with a project in mind or the mood to be swayed into some creative endeavour. I love the mission behind Reverse and the projects they come up with to keep stuff from landfill. Be warned though, some days you leave feeing like the next world famous sculpter and others you really do think, "That was a pile of junk. " It's a fantastic artistic gamble.
This place has an amazing variety of things at such affordable prices! Went there to go prop hunting for a film and I couldn't recommend it more
Interesting place, well sorted into categories. If you are doing an art project or anything creative that needs raw materials this is the perfect spot.
As someone who hates waste, this place is amazing. Recycling for e-waste, corks, bottle tops, bread ties, materials.
As well as repurposing items, this place is great for artists looking for raw materials to work with.
Bloody fantastic. If you have the idea to make something unique they have what u need at a great price. Will be heading back again for sure.
Large warehouse full of every bizarre object you can imagine, from bulk-lot origami to tiny electronics components, and the range is always changing as new things come in and old ones go out. They also have a nice section for locally hand-made and upcycled products to suit all people - the even had a ring big enough for my oversized fingers!
More expensive than I expected. I was looking for a mannequin and found that this store was quite expensive (approx $100 each).
One of my favorite destinations to look for project materials, and chance upon handy bits and bobs in the plethora of recycled goods.
