Redlands PCYC reviews
19Great facilities in this community center, Jujitsu, Basketball, Weights, cardio, Gymnastics, BMX.
Pcyc vacation care here is fantastic. I can only attest to 2020/2021 care from the Xmas January period.
When I enquired about attending as my child has special needs requiring small adjustments, I was met with open arms. As my son had a bad experience previously at a ymca in Victoria point, I was apprehensive about doing another vacation care at the recommendation of his psychologist to keep him involved in socialisation events with kids his age, to help him better reintegrate into the school environment. Before vacation care commenced I was offered to come in chat with Preya the coordinator, and to show my son around. She is amazing. Just understood my son and what he needed from the go. From needing to have a safe space to sleep as he still frequently at 6 needs to. To finding him a safe spot in the aircon to do this was great. All the staff seem mature aged so I think this is what also made the experience great and have a more understanding of child and his needs. Also to answering enquiring about statements, to calling me about accidents. I just can’t speak highly. There were not hundreds of children packed in, and I believe the right cap of numbers this year was perfect.
We can’t wait to be back for every school holidays!
Complete trust in these guys.
Thanks again
My friend took there child to the gymnastics class at the Redlands PCYCbut the young unqualified instructor had the kids walking on the high beam with no supervision I just hope the PCYC have insurance because if a child fall's off and breaks an arm or leg they will be liable plus there is not sufficient paddling on the floor if a child does fall,
So many activities here from vacation, before & after school care. Boxing, basketball, karate, gym much more
My daughter attended holiday care which left her very upset due to the fill in staff's very poor attitude and behaviour, and despite a conversation via phone with staff returning from leave, no communication happened after that, including no acknowledgment of emails sent asking for paperwork for these holidays so she is spending 6 weeks at home.she attended basketball for a couple months as well but the girls are extremly clicky and simply ignored her all the time, and communication from staff at pcyc (not basketball coach, he was great) was extremely poor. And they wonder why some kids feel utterly alone.
The PCYC serves its purpose, but c'mon guys! Upgrade, refurbishment something! Been here for ten years and it's time people, it really is time to get air conditioning. Summer in Qld what can I say.
Great place for locals to join a club and keep the mind and body fit. Facilities and canteen are top notch.
Great fun for the children of capalaba and surrounding areas! Basketball, gymnastics etc. Friendly staff at front counter.
If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere for fitness I recommend this place. Not expensive and very good staff
Basket ball coach thinks about his own ego this is all about the kids having even game time obivously he has no management skills but its ok to waste parents/players time and money if this keeps happening a refund for membership and game fee will be requested very unhappy dad.
Basketball courts are legit and have had a great court also they also have great facilities there in addition.
Basketball After Dark is a fantastic program, brings different backgrounds and age groups together in a friendly and competitive environment. Awesome people in charge with a free sausage sizzle and water. Everyone is very welcoming and gets everyone involved across all levels.
Fantastic place for childcare and kids sports particularly basketball. Great volunteers. Well organized, friendly.
6 badminton courts. Excellent Lighting. Very clean courts and wooden flooring. The only issue is that, their marking lines for the badminton courts are not bright enough. They have 2 basketball courts too and ample parking space.
This is a fantastic place offering a diverse range of activities for all the community to enjoy in a safe environment
Efficiently run basketball program, youth oriented, friendly staff and three decent indoor basketball courts.
Vacation care for the kids and they seem to have a good program which my daughter loves. Loads of other activities here available too.
Great place for fun and learning! BUT toilets suck bum holes and injuries ALWAYS occur AND ITS NOT EVEN YOUR OWN FAULT. What the even hell?
We love the morning play group! So much to challenge the kids in a safe environment and we've never encountered any of the crazy "hyper kid" incidents that are common at play centres. Just wish there was a Cafe!
