Real Christmas Trees

The Christmas tree was beautifully green, however, on the day 6 a big portion of brunches inside turned brown. Not sure why as I watered it regularly and used a special solution I bought from the Real Christmas tree shop. Otherwise still.looks good (day 8).

Absolutely fantastic experience! Everyone at Real Christmas Trees are so kind. They work extremely hard in the heat and never complain - always willing help carry the tree to your car. Lovely people, fantastic trees!

Tip - if you forget to pre-order, some times the seconds are almost as good.

Very poor communication regarding delays and problems with supplying pre-ordered tree. You could have handled this so much better with keeping your customers informed with what was happening. Instead after both phoning and emailing to check our tree would be available (after the 1 week delay) we arrived to be given only option of an extra small tree (not what we ordered). Why didnt you communicate this to us before we drove all the way there.effectively giving us not much choice? I know unforseen problems arise in business.but how you handle it is what your customers will remember.not the problem itself. I could see other customers there looking just as unpleased. Hope you learn from this but I'll go elsewhere next year

2nd year.great staff very willing and helpful, the lads get disappointed if they dont help you carry to your vehicle.

Sold a product that didn’t exist, offered every excuse under the sun when they couldn’t deliver on promises made. Delayed delivery twice with zero notice and still couldn’t guarantee a tree by mid-December. On top of this we had paid a month in advance, along with several hundred other people, and there was no allocation given based on time/date of order so really you’d stand a better chance of just turning up. Basically this outfit has zero concern for their own reputation, a very loose handle on procurement and forecasting and vague ideas about customer service. But they’re a Christmas tree company so what did I expect? It would be excusable if it wasn’t Christmas. Imagine disappointing kids at Christmas. These guys are the deadbeat dads of Christmas tree sales. Get in the sea.

My second year of christmas trees from RCT and they are fabulous. True to their word nothing is too much. We are thrilled with our tree and will be in line to order next year. Keep up the great work! Thank you

Bought and paid for a tree on 1 November to collect today. No trees available when we arrived. No correspondence received to say they wouldn’t have any, no apology, just rambling excuses of supply issues.

As per several other reviews you have received today, we did NOT receive any correspondence that there was a supply issue. I’ve seen your FB now and note that many other customers also did not receive anything. I was not offered any options when I came in today. I was told I had to come back on Wednesday, but wasn’t guaranteed to get a tree then either. Holly rang later and she was told that there would be trees on Sunday… This whole situation and the way you’ve handled it is very ordinary.

Weird company, weird people. Three different stores and one contact number which gets connected to Wooloongabba store, they dont have stock and they said they will call me back if other store has it, No one called lol I called back after a while, got answer that other stores cant check the stock as they are very busy lol? Really? Like no one can check if the store have that item? Rocket Science? Weird.

This small business is doing it tough. I appreciate the effort and communication from husband and wife team, when things don’t go as planned. They are bending over backwards to make sure customers are able to receive ordered trees or as close to order as possible, when supply issues are unreliable and out of their control. Beautiful trees, gorgeous ornaments- we bought another 3 this year. We will return again next year. Thank you

As someone whos worked in retail for many years, i have to say the customer service at the new Morningside store was outstanding. The entire team, the office staff and warehouse staff should be commended.i payed for the tree back in July, walked in with my invoice and was looked after straight away, was taken out to the warehouse and i picked out my tree and the lads carried it to the van for me and then gave me advice on the best way to preserve the tree as they loaded it up. For the first time I decided to purchase a Real Christmas tree and heard of this place. First off, The phone reception was minimal at best so I suggest actually going into the store if you wish to purchase. I paid the $120 over the phone using my MasterCard and was told it had gone through and everything was fine to go ahead and pick up the tree on the agreed day. I have just called back and they are now claiming that there is no order in their system. Luckily I have my bank details proving otherwise but I will NOT be ordering through them again.

Ordered 4 trees for 4 different locations.
Absolutely lovely and personable service.
The trees look amazing, fresh and full. Our offices could not be happier!

For $299, you’ll have a sorry looking excuse for a tree a week before Christmas. (That’s even with the extra $200 or so worth of watering system, preservative, spray, etc). By Christmas I assume it will be a dead, brown mess. Maybe they just don’t work in the Queensland climate, but either way the anticipation and expectation doesn’t match the reality. Save your money and get something else instead as they just don’t seem fit for purpose.
