Security are a joke, got asked to leave based off a lie. Only was there for under an hour, ordered 2 drinks.

The last two times I have been here, I have been treated poorly and insulted by the same barmaid. Last night she wouldn't serve me drinks, but the barman standing right next to her had no problem serving all night! I Went and told a bouncer on how she is treating me and he said they couldn't do anything about it. By the end of my night here, I went to the bar and just silently waiting to be served and then the bouncer came over and said I had to leave. I told bouncers this isn't fair that she has obviously lied to have me removed. But again said we understand but we can't do anything about it! After that I argued for a bit, because I was so frustrated and I'm sorry for that. I have been going here for a few years and its unfortunate that this is happening, I just want to have another great night!

Number one nightclub on the coast and for good reason, friendly staff, great music and vibes, well priced drinks and amazing atmosphere.

My friends and I lined up for half an hour, only to be rejected at the front of the line due to my friends wearing ‘tie-up shorts’? We have gone out in Melbourne, Sydney and Surfers and have never encountered this rule before.
The shorts they were we wearing cost $60+ and were respectable, chino shorts.
They were both wearing collared shirts, nice shoes and were polite to the bouncers.
Won’t attend again.

Put our names on the guest list earlier in the day, we first entered at 9: 15pm briefly and had to leave for 30 mins unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances and arrived back at 9: 45pm still before the 10pm free entry time for the guest list the lady checking stamps and receptionist were forceful in us paying $10 entry despite being on the guest list and re entering prior to 10 it was not made clear to us if we left the club we would have to pay $10 entry after this sour experience we did not want to give the club our money and ended up going to surfers (we drove here all the way from the Gold Coast) be careful about this false advertising as it’s not free entry between 8-10pm if on the guest list!

Bouncers were rude and discriminated against my friend for expressing himself. Meant to be an LGBTQI club but apparently not.

Absolutely disgusted at the service at the door last night at Rattlesnake. My friend went into and got bag searched and forgot she had a flask in her bag. That’s not the clubs fault it was her fault for having a flask. On the contrary she admitted to forgetting it was there and giving it up straight away and said they could pour it out and collect the empty flask on the way out as the flask was a birthday present. They said they will “see how they feel”. Then when leaving she politely asked to have it back and that they can pour everything out of it, and they said “no we can’t give it back to you” and then after a back and forth of the fact she just wanted the empty flask back they said “no get f**ked”. My friend was extremely upset and overwhelmed that a club would treat her like that despite her constant cooperation. Absolute disgrace of a club, and drinks are too expensive anyway. Loser.

Pricey drinks. 1 Bouncer thinks he's cool gets on the dance floor and dances with patrons everytime he is near the dance floor

I think I'd rather have a maggot bath than go back in there.
If I were drunk, I probably could have ignored the following:

The club had a 45 minute wait time.
It was clearly way, way over capacity. I spent my entire time inside standing in the entry way because it was too full for anyone to move.
Drinks are OK but stingy and not so cheap, although they're probably the cheapest around.
The floors were beyond filthy, they were slippery and dangerous.
The music was average at best, I stayed to listen to a second DJ's performance and it wasn't worth it. Although, if the crowd could actually move and dance it would be a good start.
Toilets had at least 10 spilled drinks across the floor, all kinds of toilet related filth, toilet paper stuffed in every loo and sink, no toilet paper or paper towels (it was all over the floor instead). Filthy seats, walls, doors, etc. Some of which spilled outside the toilets and down the stairs by the end of the night.
When asked, security was rude and ignorant, eventually went away to 'fetch toilet paper' and never came back.

It's no small wonder why I've known such a large amount of people to go out here and come home sick or injured. No one could pay me to go back.

This place ain't no neverland. The bouncers treat the venue like its the Whitehouse. I always find a way of ending up in this shoebox on a satdee night however. Rattle Snake Motel is an average name at best, don't know what you larrikins were thinking there. Give us free entry, bring back the smokers deck, mop yo floors, put on a smile, and I might bump ya up a star
