The exteriors are very pretty, clean and well appointed. Very good breakfasts. However, the rooms are aging and deserve some updating.

Good middle of the road Hotel. Great pool and staff, friendly and helpful. Clean and good coffee at the poolside.

We found the Ramada to be very clean and comfortable. It doesn't pretend to be a 5 star resort but the staff are just as attentive!

Each morning's coffee started the day great and Lucy's smile and bubbly personality on the front desk was contagious.

The wonderful service continued with Omar and his maintenance team; they were onto a leaky tap literally within "seconds"!

This is the third time we've been here, and although a couple of kilometres out off town, and a car being handy, the shuttle bus is regularly available. We'll need back again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved the beautiful pool and spent a lot of time swimming. Very relaxing holiday thanks to the Resort we chose to stay at.

Yet again I’m am disappointed in a Wyndham property, one day I will learn my lesson. Rooms are dingy and damp, the forest and stream in the middle of the resort are cool. Parking is a disgrace, so many cars just have to park on the side of the highway.

Excellent place for vacations, kids friendly with pool and at Christmas Santa with games and gifts for kids

All staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large group. Nothing was too much to ask and the service was outstanding. The pool area was amazing! We will definitely be back. Thank you all again for a fantastic weekend.

Room service was terrible - only changed towels daily. Sheets were not changed once in 10 days, floors never vacuumed. Apart from the lack of cleanliness of rooms, the pool and location was great!

Ok. Used to go every year before COVID. Was my favourite place to stay in Port Douglas. Unfortunately they just have quite got back to where they were. A little less service than I was used too. Let’s hope it improves…

It’s great if you’re taking full advantage of the pool, the proximity to the beach, and the beautiful common spaces.i’d seen mixed reviews on the food, but our breakfast was good.other than that, it’s pretty rough, especially what you pay for.there isn’t enough parking onsite so if you’re back after 21: 00 off to streets.additionally, a lamp in our room broke, the usb chargers on both were busted, the ac kept turning off, our towels had yellow stains on them, and it was loud from the nearby bar until around midnight.best to stay away if you’re looking for any kind of peace

Run down, not a clean facility, room service only gave us towel. I had to ask for the room to be vacuumed as there was a maggot on the floor. Mould in shower and there were no plates, forks or any other cutlery. Only sheets on bed, not cleaned the whole week we were there. Overpriced restaurant where prices always changed daily for coffee. Staff not friendly or approachable.

The hotel room was unclean. One of the beds was a sofa bed (which is fine) except the mattress was thin, stained and falling through the frame. The frame could not support an adult let alone provide any comfort for a nights sleep. The comforter on top of the mattress was also stained with yellow patches. The corridor leading to the room was littered with rubbish. The supervisor on duty was not accommodating, refusing to swap to a clean room despite this not being peak season. Would not recommend, especially after a long journey.

It's a gorgeous location! Pool bar had vegan and vegetarian options. Staff were always so friendly and accommodating. Pool was lovely. We also accessed the gym and yoga room. Bikes available for $5 per hour and it's only 3.6km to town or a 45 minute walk. Very family friendly accomodation with kids play areas, pool tables etc.

Love love love our stay at Ramada resort.
Staff were always eager to help and very happy. The pool and gardens are magnificent, swam morning and evenings, has plenty of shade on hot days.
Great place for couples and families, excellent shuttle service into town.
Enjoyed Port Douglas immensely.

Very Meh,
Pros - Tropical scenery around resort, quick walk to beach

Cons - black mould on bed mattress, air vents clogged up in bathroom very dirty

Phone buttons in room
Not working,

Service was poor depending on who was on duty at front desk,

They will try and swindle you into a seminar and give you discounts but it’s a scam and they will want you to pay member rates.

Overall I wouldn’t come
Back and would find another resort instead

Excellent pool and massage facility. Restaurant food was also tasty with great coffee. Beds were comfy and towels were regularly changed. Shuttle bus was easy to use.
Unfortunately we will not be revisiting Ramada due to a few reasons. Firstly, the walls are paper thin. We could hear the people above and beside us using the bathroom (not just flushing) and talking late at night. Secondly, the bathroom had no fan. Meaning that the bathroom was always moist, making drying towels near to impossible. Thirdly, the laundry facilities were horrendous. They simply did not work and were expensive to operate. Lastly, some of the games can only be used if you pay extra. This should be included in the resort price as you pay enough to stay there, you shouldn’t have to give over extra money for a little bit of entertainment.

Absolutely gorgeous!
The grounds and room were beautiful.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Lots of free activities available and close to everything.
Swim-up bar and beach entry pool with waterfall.
Pool is situated beautifully amongst the natural environment.
There are so many beautiful spaces to admire. Especially the lounge area which is just perfect for sitting and reading.
A creek runs through the resort, creating a lush rainforest feel.
Lifts are available in each block.
Amenities are great.
The Blue Dolphin cocktail was amazing.
Can't wait to visit again!

Just finished our stay at Ramada Resort and it was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful location on the beach with great gardens and big pool. Swim up bar was also awesome. Staff were absolutely lovely especially Ashleigh who was in the dinning area and Amos the Chef who cooked fantastic food for us. Rooms were nice and clean but need an update.
Overall highly recommend Ramada Resort.

It’s was just tired and I felt depressed. We moved to another resort and enjoyed our stay. The bath towels and the dampness are an issue. The staff are lovely and the food was ok. And the day spa was my favourite. Excellent treatment.
