Wonderful place to stay.
The owners, Brian and Merelda, go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The beds are comfortable, rooms clean and there’s a great little bar and pool to cool off from the Townsville heat.
Everything you need is close by.
We will be back!

Budget accommodation. Older establishment. Clean and tidy rooms with all necessary fitments. Located inner suburb on main public transport route.

Tv stuck on abc no pwer points beside bed night light on bed didnt work air con rattles and had to stand on chair to change settings no remote bed was a brick tap in bathroom drips and fridge froze the milk no biscuits with tea and coffee staff were friendly it was clean but very old for the price disappointing

Don’t recommend this Motel. The Motel is totally outdated, not clean, no wifi provided and the whole room smelled like instant noodles. If you still want to book it, be sure that you have your earplugs with you. The walls are thin and you can here every word of your neighbors and the cars. I have slept in many Motels when I was traveling around the world but this was one of the worst.

The bed was terrible. Could feel the springs on the side. Awful sleep. No bedside tables. Hardly any power points. The bathroom very shabby and run down. Cobwebs in the cornices. No built in cabinet, with just pipes showing. Very disappointed especially with the price we paid. Very underrated. Won’t stay there again and will not recommend it.

Very kind people. Motel was clean and affordable. Would definitely recommend to anyone. We stayed with our newborn and they were able to provide a cot. Conveniently located near quite a few medical places (5min or less to Vision Eye Institute).

Quiet and comfortable. Off the main highway and rooms with a distinct retro feel. I slept very well.

Great place with Great Staff. The place was clean and tidy, and the staff was always willing to help anyway they could. Will be back next time.

In a good location. Upstairs room was good and quiet. One con to go with the pros is that if you want to charge multiple devices, bring a power board as there were only 2 spare power sockets in the room I stayed in. No powerpoints next to the beds.

For the price of the rooms you'd think the beds would be better as well as the tv's are dinosaurs. I've stayed in better places for a cheaper price. It's not what it is in the pictures.

Excellent prices, friendly service, clean rooms. Dont expect flash but rooms are clean and comftable. Coles right accross tge road, pub across the road but expensive. Great Italian restaurant a short stroll away.

I have stayed here many times over the years. Extremely pleasant owners. Comfortable, reasonably priced and within short distance of my requirements.

The owner/ manager has a bad attitude, WiFi only works outside, air-con rattles, mattress springs uneven, tv really old with poor picture and generally looks like it was furnished from a garage sale

A basic clean room with all one needs, very comfortable bed, nothing broken, two very pleasant nights. Reception was very helpful and very friendly. Supermarket, hotel with meals, bakery and two fast food outlets are just over the road within easy walking distance. We will definitely stay again if the situation arises and we strongly recommend others to stay as well.

Warm and friendly service. Dated styling but functional. Shops and takeaways nearby if you need them. Bed was comfortable and aircon worked well.

We stay here for all our hospital and specialist appointments when we are in Townsville. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful staff that I have ever encountered at a hotel/ motel, always happy to do what ever they can to make your stay more operant and enjoyable. The rooms and bedding are always clean!

Stayed in lower unit, Ihad booked the upper unit.carpet not vacumed, fridge turned off water still in the fridge tray, dead mouths in the single lounge chair, shower taps loose, bath towles not changed for the 2nd night, the bed sheets not changed for the 2nd night, the bed sheets looked like a ten year old had made the beds up, no phone in the room.bed fluro and radio not working Toilet bowl base rocks and roles about 10 mm. All for $230 which was requested be paid on arrival, for 2 nights. Won't be back.

Standards are clean, dry and all amenities are in bare breeze block walls, dodgy shower head and broken wardrobe. Pay cheap and looks cheap but it's what I expected

Nov 18, Great Staff, Great Simple rooms, yes older style, but very servicable, CLEAN, well stocked, Pool looks great did not have time for a dip. AC, fans and windows that open, On our list to stay again, Thanks
