Rainbow City Children's Play Centre & Café

Tried to go on 27/1. Advertised as open 9am. We arrived just before 9am and waited for over 25mins on a super hot day and gave up. Quite a few parents with kids were also waiting. Noone answered the phone when my wife tried to call.

We had our daughter’s 5th birthday here it was great nice and clean staff were so lovely and helpful and the party room was awesome my daughter loved it.
Will definitely be back

My 2 and years old son and I visited this place for the first time last Friday, we are quite new in the area. And I'm a full time stay at home mum with our son so it's really important for us to find our go to place for him to let all that energy out without me stressing about it. And also be with other kids and hopefully we can meet other mumsThis place is amazing for toddler's and smaller kids. They have everything, it's clean, safe, the staff and Jo which I met was sooo lovely. Very good prices too. Make sure to bring socks for your LO. Anyways we will be back for sure. Thanks again

Love this place and so do my children. Lots of activities for the little ones, aswell as lots of cars in the toddler area. The service was a little slow, but there were many people to serve. And they have coffee!

My wife had visited Rainbow Playland this morning with my 2 year old son, sister in law and her 2 year old daughter. The kids were very excited to play at the centre.

The play centre was not in the cleanest to state to begin with but we overlooked the food scraps on the stairs going up to the slides, the crumbs on the play equipment etc. Whilst we understand it is a child play centre after all, we would hope there is health and safety efforts to santitise and keep the centre as clean as possible at a minimum. However, we were totally mortified when my sister in law stood in poo that was on the floor near the table we had our belongings at. This is completely unacceptable. Staff need to be more attentive to these kind of issues as this poses a serious health risk to any person especially little ones who may have touched the poo and then proceed to touch other surfaces which are clearly not cleaned at this centre. The poo was not isolated to one small area as there was also a piece of more poo in the middle area towards the entrance. We wanted to vomit and quickly left the centre. It baffles me how any parent could let their child poo in the middle of a centre but in any event it would be the centers responsibility to ensure that they are actively managing the areas and ensuring the health and safety of their customers and staff. I did notice one of the staff members had walked passed the poo without a flinch as if this is normal order of business at Rainbow. Unacceptable and disgusting. Especially for a playcentre.

We have chosen to leave this review in the hopes that your staff are trained to be more attentive and so that you can ensure that proper supervision and cleaning processes are implemented and followed by staff as this poses a serious health and safety hazard - especially to little children.

Rainbow City is amazing for babies and toddlers. We hired out the venue for my sons 5th birthday and the communication with Raymond (owner) was excellent. My son wanted an avengers theme and they had set it up beautifully. My son and his friends had a blast and had the entire venue to themselves. I couldn’t have asked for a better party for my son. I Love this place! Great food and my kids love the trampoline. The owners are super nice too. Finally, a good play centre that has great coffee!

I had recently hired the venue for my son's 7th birthday party, and it was a fantastic experience for everyone.

The booking process was seamless, with responses coming back very promptly.
On the day, the staffs were very accommodating and friendly.

Not to mention the play centre itself being suitable for children of all ages.

I would recommend the place!:)

Staffs are friendly, the slides and play areas are very well suited for younger toddlers too, which is a plus!

I brought my toddler here last week and he had a ball. It is so much cleaner than crocs play centre on the other end of Compton Rd, with clean facilities and a good nappy change area. There was plenty for my toddler to do and the food was quite nice. I was happy with the price and staff were really friendly.
The parking situation isn’t ideal but we went on a weekday and got a park, and 2 hours was plenty of time for us anyway so it didn’t affect us too much.
I really liked that I could actually sit down in a couple of comfortable spots and also at the tables and was still able to see my toddler as sometimes you just need a break!

We held my son’s 3rd birthday party here over the weekend. From initial contact to finish, Raymond was super easy to work with and went above and beyond to ensure we got what we wanted for the party. The themed decorations were perfect for my son and the kids had the best time. The centre is also the perfect size for events - big enough to entertain kids, but not so big that you have to follow your kids everywhere. 100% recommend!

Not the best play centre quite small and not many toys in the under 2 sections. Very hot either no aircon or not working. Not very clean.

Have a great times in there. The place safe for kids and a great place for mum to relax. I only giving 4 starts because of the broken toys what should not be out there.

Attended as a guest for our nephews first birthday. The parents hired out after hours and this place is awesome! Small but it caters to all children. Thinking of hiring out for my baby’s birthday too

Rainbow city hosted an incredible 2nd birthday party for my son at only a few days notice.it was decorate very well.i loved the freedom of being able to bring extra food
and extra bits and pieces.the kids had a blast! Even the birthday boy was impressed and he is not easily impressed lol

I took my daughter and her cousin here and had a lovely time. Going on a weekday was nice and quiet. The new owners are friendly and lovely people. The food was nice, dino nuggets were a hit!

We had our son's 1st Birthday at Rainbow City and were very pleased with how everything went. During the planning and preparation stage all my questions were answered clearly and within a reasonable timeframe.

We were able to bring in our own decorations and the food portions for the kids were very generous. The adult platters were also delicious. The food was of good quality and freshly prepared.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful on the day. The centre is clean and the kids who attended had a blast. The allotted time just flew right by.

We highly recommend Rainbow City for kids parties and look forward to returning to the centre for another play.

The space is neat and tidy. Facilities were ok and the kids enjoyed themselves. Food could have been better cooked - chips undercooked and nuggets a little overcooked. Dim sim would have been good if it were made from scratch rather than from a packet. Other than that, it was a nice day out with the kids.

Always a pleasure to come here, staff are always so nice, the place is very clean, tidy and looked after. The food is also very reasonably priced, well presented and yummy:)

Lovely place to take your children and grandchildren! Reasonably priced. Safe and hygienic. Highly recommended.
