Rackley Swimming at Gould Adams Park

The staff are all helpful. Shirley is the Manager and she is very good at replying to emails, communicating and keeping things organised.

The swim teachers are all lovely, we were recommended this swim school and glad we chose to move from our old one

I have tried many different schools and places closer to where we live and still find this place being the best.

Received a text message from Rackleys at Kingston when myself or my family have never set foot in a Rackleys Swimming Centre before. When I rang to advise, the staff were unhelpful and rude and didn’t even apologise just kept asking me what my children’s names were and basically making me out to be a liar. Extremely bad for a service and customer service.
Based on this alone I would never set foot in a Rackleys Centre.

Coming from another Rackley’s location on the Gold Coast which we loved, Kingston does not even come close! So many issues with the temperature of the kids pool led me to having to put my daughters swimming on hold as it was turning a toddler who loves swimming to one who now cries most of the class wanting to get out of the pool, first week back and the pool may have been ‘fixed’ it still has very inadequate in the facilities, VERY run down as well as poor customer service, you don’t exactly feel welcome in the slightest upon arrival unlike my previous experience.

Out of 4 weeks of lessons 3 were cancelled morning off- I understand these things happen. Would call to reschedule and phone was never answered. Left voicemails, phone calls never returned. Finally got through and asked to un enrol my child- after saying his name more than 5 times plus Spelling it the staff member could still not work out how to unenroll him. Advised I would no longer be attending- I am still receiving messages “ reminding me of the swim classes”. Extremely unprofessional organisation.

The classes we did attend were okay. Have gone elsewhere and can confirm rackley swimming Kingston service is subpar.

Why did you call to inform me that you weren't going to school? She said no money But when I cancel She also said that she deducted money every time even if she didn't go to school. Besides, teaching is very bad. In one class, she let the students get together too much.

NEEDS MAJOR upkeep/upgrades (YEARS AGO!) ; I cringe going into the change rooms (the Disabled's worse!)!
There's no pride. ANYWHERE.dirty pools & toilets, rusted seating, staff have given up, nothing's clean.it's embarrassing! Went ONLY bcos Springwood's closed!

Totally disappointed with the way the coaching being done. Went to join my kid for swimming but not good.

The baby splash sessions are fantastic and so easy to book into, we had a slight hitch in the process to book into the paid classes but the team quickly rectified the issue and it’s worked out well that we could be fitted in. Miss Bec is a fantastic teacher and our Bub is enjoying his classes so much!

Very nice and clean environment, with good instructors, accounts are not up to date rest all is fine.

Kid's love learning to swim, because the instructors are so nice and friendly. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Love their caramel lattè, the food is nice as well

Extremely disappointing experience over a number of months…

Rackley seems to have made their twin goals: (1) MAKE AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE OFF THE CLIENT, and (2) REDUCE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO AN ABSOLUTE MINIMUM.

They refuse to rebook lessons over the phone or over the counter and divert customers to their website (‘Parent Portal’) which simply does not work. We have raised this with them multiple times, and have missed out on about 6 lessons this year as a result. Even when the centre was closed because of Covid and public holidays, we could not rebook.

They moved our 4 year-old child into a much higher level class, even though he was still very tentative and had not grasped even a basic level of swimming. After discussion, they ignored our concerns.

When we cancelled his lessons completely, they informed us that it would take another 2 weeks (and another direct debit). This has happened to us twice in the past, with our older children.

So, we do NOT RECOMMEND Rackley as a swim school.

We are disappointed to see swimming pool closed at 4: 00pm while based on the information on their website says it’s open on Saturdays up to 5: 30 pm. It’s not good actually, you must update information regarding operation hours accurately. People manage their time according to the information provided on the website.

Staff do not seem to care about the customers. Water looks murky and uninvited. Ordered a capacino which turned out to be a cold flat white which took 3 people to make. No lifeguards patrolling, two Life guards out the back chatting with other staff. Went once and WILL NOT be returning.

Rackely Swim School is amazing! My son goes for one on one lessons with Bec and she is brilliant with him. My son is Autistic and has ADHD so patience and understanding is a must and Bec is an absolute asset to Rackley!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! We have been attending since 2016 with our eldest daughter, and now our youngest as well since 2017. The teachers, customer service and management are all kind and understanding of our eldest needs. It is our second home.

Have been coming here for a year. My child has complex special needs (psychiatric). Rebecca the manager and the regular staff have gone way up and beyond what any company could have ever gone. I have never seen in all the state's I lived in with such great service and care. They make everything much easier for the parent and child. They help out in any way to make the child feel safe and gain strength in the water and to overcome any fear that they have in the water. It's amazing having a second family here who understands severe circumstances. No judging at all. It's great to let them know if there are any struggles personally and they will do as much as they can to accommodate in every way. AND THEY DO A LOT. Much more than I do deserve but thank you soo much Rebecca, Chey and all for being who you are and caring so much to make my child feel that they belong and feel happy with you all. You make my child to start being happy again. Fantastic food as well. Great menu even with children who have eating disorders. Well done. Amazing. Wonderful staff with great fun personalities. They are extremely flexible as well which I have not seen in any business so far.

Great place to work, always given the support needed, lifeguard and customer service team amd Teaching Team are spot on, always seeing smiles and laughs whenever I have been at the facility! Love interacting with the Families and kids within the Learn To Swim Program, and having a good chat with the Public patrons, they always have a story to tell!

My siblings love there swimming lessons here! Great teachers who never stop smiling and making the kids happy
