After seeing three of their productions at QPAC and attending regular classes at the Beesley St studios, I can say I truly love and appreciate what the people at Qld Ballet are doing in Brisbane. Such an important and accessible part of the arts and culture scene.
Queensland Ballet offers high quality, enthusiastic community ballet teaching classes face to face, and online for all ages including classes for Seniors 50 years+ to learn ballet at beginners & intermediate levels. Disgraceful effort by Queensland Ballet. Blocking off 150 of public parking along Montague Road when they are not using it over the Covid lockdown weekend. No consideration of the local people. Parking is already scarce and your taking it unnecessarily when people particularly need it.
Love coming to classes and attending the ballet. Also admire their mission to spread the love of dance and art more broadly. A gem for Brisbane and Queensland!
I have become a ballet fan. The Queensland Ballet is a first class organisation. I do not think I am being particularly parochial when I say this. Their work is fabulous.
Great local company that put on wonderful shows. The dance classes they provide are affordable too, and many choices of classes available.
