The QME collar has made a world of difference to reading ground at speed. I was hesitant as pulling the SS175M transducer out and refitting was a difficult job. The blood sweat and tears were certainly worth it.

I would just like to say what great customer service Richard has and knowledge. He knew all the answers i didn't and had just what i needed. Purchased and shipped same day no fuss no BS just genuine great service all round. If you are looking for electronics for your boats make sure you call these guys whether you in there state or not supreme service!

QME saved me hours of ringing around to find the impossible transducer fluid. Honest down to earth manner and professional advice got us sorted to chase the fish again! I would highly recommend QME.

Richard gives you straight shooting advice that will have your boat humming. The quality of work delivered by QME is second to none. If you choose anyone else to handle your boat you'll be leaving performance on the table.

The only company that has been able to get a transducer reading over 20 miles an hour in our Shark Cat.

Recently had my blackwatch 26 sounders and radar upgraded by quality marine electronics. Richard was extremely knowledgeable and experienced in advising of what i required. His down to earth approach in explaining the complexity of the system was amazing. I was provided a competitive quote followed by a hassle free installation. Richard also identified some problems with the current 12 volt sytem and reinstalled a far better system. I have had trouble free and safe boating since his work. I tried to visit in store to look through the "showroom" to discuss an electronics package for a new build boat. First I was asked to wait for 5 minutes on 2 occasions stood out front of the workshop. I was then told I would need to pay $100 p/h fee for him to shoe me his products.

Rude, unhelpful and would not recommend QME to anyone.

Very disappointed with customer service. Rude. May be very nice to customers looking to spend more money, but not too interested in helping me.
I was looking to spend about $5k on a new sounder and install it myself, but wanted some expert advice to get the right one. Emailed through my requirements and followed up with a phone call to discuss what sounder would best suit my needs. The bloke didn't want to talk to me. He was obviously busy with another job and I was just an inconvenience. He could have easily said "mate I'm busy right now, can I call you later". Instead he was just dismissive and wouldn't even talk to me unless I brought my boat in first. Maybe only interested in the bigger install jobs, maybe having a bad day, I don't know.
First time I've EVER felt the need to write a review. Needless to say I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Mate I gave a fair review based on the service I received. What you've said is not how the conversation went. But I see the same attitude I received on the phone. It appears your reponse is to attack anyone that doesn't provide positive feedback. Not professional. Not sure what you mean by "people like me", but if others have complained about your customer service, perhaps you should take it onboard and treat potential customers with a little more respect. If you weren't so rude to me I intended to purchase from you. I didn't complain about your products or workmanship. They may be high quality. I said you were rude and your response is further reflection of that.

Took my 4yo trailer boat to the boys at QME for a check over before a long trip away. Some big safety issues were picked up and upgrades done where needed. Quality of advice and workmanship is first class and gives me peace of mine when travelling a long way offshore. I would recommend everyone go through the same process.

Recently had a dual transducer install done by Richard and Harry from QME (an SS175HW and SS175L with their added custom spacers) and I couldn’t be happier, extremely professional and their workmanship immaculate. The performance is exceptional after Richard took the time to find the prime location to fit each transducer for ideal performance constantly holding the bottom at 40knots.
And giving a super clear image through my Simrad EVO3 screens.
Can’t recommend QME highly enough

Dick from QME is one of the most knowledgeable guys for Furuno components in Qld. When you purchase this kind of equipment it is imperative that you have back up that you can depend on. This project was a combination of me mounting the Radar, Touchscreen & antenna running the cables for these items with the addition of a transducer which I ran the cable but left the placement to Dick. A quick phone call to Dick confirmed all placements of the equipment & final electrical connection was left to him. The bonus of working this way obviously was the saving in chargeable labour hours whilst still getting the peace of mind of Furuno, s full warranty. The sea trial was fantastic with a very concise explanation of the equipment installed & all shown in good working order naturally. This was stage 1 of 2 stages for me with Auto Pilot & 3D Transducer to come. I will be back

I cannot recommend QME highly enough so do yourself a favour & have a crack, save yourself some money & go get the best.
