These guys make a great egg and bacon breakfast muffin. There is a wide variety of meal options and the fuel is always a reasonable price. Moonie is a town that is full of surprises. Appearances can be deceiving. There is accommodation, entertainment and historical things to see.

Booked a room and couldn’t make it there. No cancellation possible through the site but few days later took money off my card anyway. So not happy.

No idea how to cook a steak, the worst meal I've had in 6 years working all around Queensland

Coffee was excellent. Service extremely ordinary… accompanied by eye rolls and puffs of disdain. Don’t come here if you’re from anywhere but deep southern Queensland.

Breaks the monotony of long distance travel for a quick pitstop.
Good food available with friendly staff.

Fantastic meal prepared at a moments notice for a Bus Trip detoured by floods. They went put off their way to accommodate our needs. Very special people.

Petrol was reasonably priced and great little Information centre with very knowledgeable staff regarding road conditions as we were in middle of roads starting to flood.

The Cross roads at Moonie is not to bad as it is the only outlet in town. The food was slow comming and when i got it tthe order was wrong so i had to wait further for the right order and then it was'nt all that good for the price i payed. Will not go back there again.sorry.

Puma Moonie Crossroads Hotel is conveniently located and aptly named as it is on the crossroads with the routes to St George / Dalby or Goondiwindi / Miles. In here you can even buy real authentic Wrangler denim jeans besides hats and belts, as well as fuel and food.

Camped overnight, very pleasant staff, meals were lovely. Caravan park behind servo, reasonable price, amenities were very clean

This is a large truckie stopover BUT the truckies are missing and the reason is that the food is horrible. The bay-maria is not set high enough and the food inedible for most. This truck-stop was the most popular in the area, but new management is killing it. No more stops for food here for me.

Friendly staff and fuel prices are typically cheaper than Brisbane prices, worth a pitstop regardless of your travel direction

Great place to pull over for the night. With the cheapest fuel in the area and a great looking pub and diner. Staff friendly and the facilities worth the $25 for a powered site. We really enjoyed our stop over. I was actually quite surprised by the decor of the pub very clean and inviting. Kinda like an oasis in the desert type scenario. The food wasn't typical pub food. I ordered the pad Thai because the chef and kitchen staff were Asian so i knew it was going to be authentic.and it was! Yummo! Will stay here again on our travels. Pay for site at the pub. P.s. The generators are very noisy so wear ear plugs.

Great Restaurant with a decent menu, well presented foods with very fresh and tasty meals, I expected a pub counter meal and was presently surprised at the quality of our meals. I had King Prawn with pumpkin purée and caramelised onion and capsicum plus salad and chips, it was smashing. Kids had a round of BBQ chicken wings, hamburger and chips, pork belly and roasted veggies, chicken breast and salad and chips and wifey got Fish Fillets and salad kids somehow managed to follow all that up with hot apple pie and ice cream. Cold Beers on tap and plenty of other drinks to choose from, light music and good atmosphere. What more could you want?
