Psychsupport- Dr Sarah Angel

We had a family report done by Dr Angel, was complete waste of thousands of dollars. Within the report it had babes of people we did not know, it said my mother attended the session to help with kids, my mother did not attend. Was full of error. In process of lodging a complaint to APHRA so no other families have to have this experience. 1 star is generous.

Amazing psychologist. So insightful in post separation matters. Helpful, knowledgeable and passionate.

Dr Angel is amazing at what she does. She is extremely knowledgeable and can explain concepts and ideas really well.

Its a shame that her reception is negligent. On two seperate occasions i was waitlisted for my next appointment - told i would be notified of the nearest availability as soon as one arose. I waited two to three months in between my appointments. Twice. All this time, issues were going untreated. When i called up to ask why there was such a long wait time I was met with "oh did you want another appointment? " Extremely disappointing.

I took my teenage son to Dr Angel to help with his anxiety. He was resistant at first but after the first session he asks when he can see her again. She has given him strategies he uses everyday and he has improved more than I had hoped. Even his teachers have noticed. Thank you so much.

We found Dr Angel to be professional, kind, caring and an asset to child counselling services. Dr Angel counselled my daughter for anxiety and separation issues very successfully. The consideration and the depth of understanding shown by Dr Angel made my daughter completely at ease. The fact that my daughter is now doing so well at school and her positive behaviour is a credit to Dr Angel.
In addition, Dr Angel was able to help us negotiate a parenting plan that was beneficial for both parties, child focused and we were satisfied with the outcome. Our circumstances were quite complex, however Dr Angel was able to navigate complicated issues with complete aptitude and professionalism. I would thoroughly recommend this psychologist.

I have seen a few of Psychologists in the past, but none of them could help me with my anxiety and depression. A friend suggested I see Dr Sarah Angel as she had been a client and she seemed very happy with her life. I didn't expect her to be of much help, but after my first session, I knew she could help me. I have had a few sessions with her now and I must say she is a very compassionate psych and I appreciate how she is not afraid to query my take on situations and to challenge me to find a way through them. She has given me some excellent tools and training to help me recover whenever I have an episode. I could not recommend her more highly.

Dr Angel was a great support for our separation matter. She was supportive of our children's needs and listened to our family.

I do not recommend this psychologist. My daughter saw her over a year of sessions recommended to help her in her complex relationship with her father. My daughter is still traumatized by the experience, and her relationship with her dad did not really improve. While Dr Angel seemed to be sympathetic when speaking to my daughter, she turned around and said the opposite things to her father, which was very confusing to a child. My daughter ultimately felt pathologised by the process. It didn't help that Dr Angel also came late to every session.
