Project Plants Trade Centre

The Project Plants team were lovely to deal with when I ordered a plant as a gift, to be delivered to a friend. I don't live locally and they organised it all for me.

Went to project plants today and for the 2nd time in a year, received the worst customer service ever. Both times we were spoken down to and treated like we were idiots by just asking simple things, like “can we place a bulk order? ” And “if there’s any discount for bulk orders? ” And got the response “not gonna happen”. Even asking about differences in varieties was met with the same condescending attitude. Honestly wouldn’t even give them 1 star. This customer service was the only reason we decided we wouldn’t buy anything and will never come back.

REPLY: Im pretty sure the person I spoke to was Mark. He did inform us of the voucher system but after his initial response it pretty much fell on deaf ears and I was ready to leave by that point. Pretty disappointing as I would prefer to support a local business but truely don’t want to return. Have already given project plants a 2nd chance and have been met with the same condescending attitude both times by the same person.

One of the best nursery experiences I’ve had! If you live in Townsville there’s no reason to buy plants elsewhere - everything has been reared in the local conditions which means they’re more likely to survive at home. I dealt with Paul who was patient and generous with his advice, giving great recommendations on planting and preparation, even taking the time to lay out the arrangement I had in mind so I could see it and perfectly packing my car to the brim with plants and other bulk products. His knowledge was extensive and attuned to local conditions which is so different from what you’d get elsewhere. I learnt new techniques even for tricky jobs in the garden. Really appreciate the effort, knowledge and great service Paul. Don’t think twice about visiting these guys for gardening needs and advice. Prices were reasonable too.

If you want to explore the widest range, or speak to the most knowledgeable people, then this is the place! They also have a fantastic turn around for delivery! I placed an order late at night on Wednesday and they delivered it today right before Easter too! They are so good, I will happily drive up to Townsville from Bundy to get my plants from them. The specimens are always so healthy and they'll give you good advice if you aren't sure which ones to pick.

Paul & Mark are beyond helpful & knowledgeable about every plant they stock as well in providing useful planting tips & tricks. The selection they stock is amazing & better yet they’re all sun hardened I haven’t had a single plant die. If they don’t have what I want in stock or the size I want, they’re only too happy to order it in for me. They make it so easy. Project Plants is definitely Townsville’s best kept secret. I’d definitely give them 5 stars for service & selection.

Took my mother for a visit today after stopping in a few months ago to grab a shub that only they stocked. Absolutely lovely service again. Even offered umbrella's to keep the sun off, which is a massive win in my book. Mum's an avid gardener and I turn everything to dust and she just loved the place, which is a big win if you've impressed my garden guru Mum!

When to Project plants for the first time today & I had such a great experience. When in wanting 2 specific plants & came out with both! Such a wide selection. Great customer service, healthy plants with good soil! Will be going back!

A well established nursery with a variety of dry tropic suitable stock lines. Helpful staff and a good range of garden supplies (in addition to plants themselves) round out the picture.

Amazing, staff is beyond helpful, awesome prices, will be visiting again. My favourite place to go.

Very well set out nursery. Shrubs and trees are available from small to advanced. All plants are very healthy. Staff are very friendly and always helpful. Spend over $50 and you get a 5% discount on your next shop.

Had such a nice experience here on the weekend. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The umbrellas are a nice touch and so are the Zooper Doopers for the kids! Plants were flourishing and prices on everything. Will be back!

Very healthy plants, great variety and sizes of pots, boys are also very helpful and knowledgeable. Heaps better than Bunnings.

Great range of plants, we have found all sorts of new varieties of plants on display here. They keep the stock up to date with seasonal changes which is great.

The staff know their plants and are their advice has been really helpful with re landscaping our house. My wife is rather fussy with what goes into the garden so it's good to talk with the guys here so we know what the plants will do as they grow.

The prices are great too, means more plants for my cash which is always a plus:)
