Their knowledge, guidance and wisdom is unrivaled in Queensland. They demonstrate patience, persistence, humility, understanding and care, and can work with any student irrespective of age or ability. The academy has strong ties with Guro Daniel Inosanto, Sifu Francis and Jean Jacques Machado, which often hold seminars. But this aside, all the instructors are genuine, caring and helpful people who just want to help people grow.

PMA is a martial arts gym which caters for children from the age of 2 and a half all the way through to adults at any age. Chief instructor Cookie teaches many different arts like Brazilian Ju Jitsu, Muay Thai, JKD and women’s self defence! Each class has many qualified instructors ready to help and is filled with fun, discipline, respect and knowledge. I am extremely pleased with what I have learnt whilst training here, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I highly recommend Progressive Martial Arts!
