Practical Wing Chun Kungfu Woolloongabba Club reviews
36 One of the best kung fu camps I've attended, very well organised.
Instructior Jack Leung was very professional and made it fun for all while learning some really cool stuff.
Highly recommend this school.
Similar to the PWC HQ at Underwood, I like the atmosphere of the school, with the friendly and knowledgeable instructors on the one hand, and the disciplined and energetic students on the other.
Besides, I also like the children class to be taught side by with the adults. In this way, children will have expectations for their future to be.
A good place for those beginners to start Wing Chun practice and for those who want to further their Wing Chun skills at all levels.
Great training environment with an excellent Sifu and instructors. Well worth a visit for anyone curious about Wing Chun or interested in marital arts.
A great learning environment as well as motivated instructors who offer invaluable support and feedback:)
I'm new to Australia and had a hard time adjusting to the new environment and culture, a lot of things were new to me. I looked for something that might help to bring some structure and motivation in my life and found the Practical Wing Chun Club. And now still after 3+ months I walk in everytime excited and leave motivated for the next time. Really cool and nice people, all of them very supportive.
Even if you are a complete beginner in martial arts like me, don't be afraid to try something new, you won't regret it ️
Practical wing Chun has been been such a great experience. It has taught me self defence, discipline but also they make you feel like you're part of a community. Even after moving across the country, I continued online because I missed the training and inclusiveness. Highly recommend if you're after self defence and an inclusive community.
I started Practical Wing Chun so my teenage son and daughter would come along to learn some self defence with me while growing up in high school.
The 3 of us were immediately embraced as part of the schools family. Sifu and the Sihings teach their form of Wing Chun with great technical knowledge to ensure your movements and defence are as effective as possible but also with a great family atmosphere, which is even more evident when we have Xmas or School Anniversary functions where everyone’s family regardless if they train or not are invited to join in.
I suggest if you or if you want your children to learn self defence, that you visit Practical Wing Chun.
I practiced Shaolin Kung Fu when I was in my home country and it was amazing. I do love Martial arts, and the experience with Wing Chun it has been different but amazing too. It's a bit different than Shaolin but its boundaries are almost the same. I have met great and experience teachers in this school and I do recommend it.
Very honest and friendly environment Sifu Jack and Team is allways very kind and helpful. I like the positive vipe during training. ️️
Great school and instructors operated by an awesome Sifu. Whats really good about Practical Wing Chun is the various locations you can choose to train at and getting to train with different students is a great way to improve on my own skills.
Highly recommend if anyone is thinking about getting into Martial arts. Whether it's for fitness or persoanl self defence.
Whilst the venue itself isn't the largest, the space much like its equipment is well utilised and looked after. Fantastic classes run by considerate and knowledgeable instructors. As a student myself I highly recommend signing up for a trial class if you are interested in Wing Chun and want to learn in a great environment.
Fantastic martial arts school to learn new skills and self discipline in a very respectful community! Sifu Jack Leung, instructors and fellow students provide a great training environment.
I am part of the online training group and so far I find the content and the interaction with trainers to be very satisfactory. They very helpful, friendly and supportive and I have learnt so much so far. I'm keen to continue training and hopefully get a chance to train with the school in person.
Had the best two years here. I learned so much not only in the martial arts but also in life. Everything you get taught by Sifu Jack Leung can transition in life and your mindset about everything you do and see
Practical Wing Chun has played a very big part in my life this year. I found this martial art school about 2-3 months ago. I was looking for a sport, hobby, something to occupy my mind as I was heavily battling depression and fighting a war with myself while trying to carry the weight of helping others around me. I eventually crashed & became more mentally and emotionally unstable.
I had looked at other Martial Arts but the discipline and structure of the school did not have my attention for very long and I had walked out.
Since coming to find Practical Wing Chun. I've felt a HUGE shift in my life, especially in this bad year of 2020. Sifu Jack, Instructors Hiu, Julie and all the others I'm still yet to remember names have been absolutely incredible to me and the structure of the school is exactly what I needed. The students are very well respected and have been a priviledge to train among.
I've learnt alot in such a short time due to classes being very practical and for that I'm grateful! Im beyond thankful for Practical Wing Chun. To this day, Im happier and my life is piecing together! Yes PWC helped me find my inner strength and courage to fight through life, be kind to myself and of course to know KUNG FU!
& as someone who grew up with Ip Mans movies, its makes it even more aspiring for me!
I just want to express my gratitude for a lovely journey in martial arts. I started when I was 13 years old (I am now 18 years old), I have learnt so much over the years not just in wing chun like self defence but life skills and lessons that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Coming to the school has disciplined my younger self and introduced me to many other students with different walks of life. It gave a much greater drive to improve myself since I was surrounded by so many positive people that pushed me to the limit. With consistency and patience I become stronger each day thanks to the diverse range of instructors and students.
I want to give a special appreciation to my sifu for the opportunity to become an instructor and how he has guided me to become better person and instructor. He seem to be able to make anything he teaches enjoyable and challenging at the same time which has made training interesting for a teenager.
Ultimately I highly recommend this to everyone who has an interest in just bettering them self, I believe this school creates a positive influence on anyone which could eventually lead to success in your life.
Great, clean dojo with really enthusiastic teachers. Jack is lovely to work with! Would recommend for anyone wanting to study Wing Chun or any martial art.
Practical Wing Chun Kung Fu has a highly experienced instructor Jack with many years of extensive knowledge. He is a great mentor with the hunger to continually grow in the martial arts industry.
This is the place to train, highly recommended!
My son started prior to Covid and thoroughly enjoyed it. Throughout the difficulties of the Covid experience Jack and his team stayed positive through introducing online sessions. Now back to full time training it has been wonderful. I would highly recommend this as great for beginners of all ages. Well catered for the younger kids as they all strive for discipline however it's done with lots of fun and laughs. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
I'm currently a student with the school. I like the flexibility of training sessions. During this time with COVID the PWC team put in place alternate training platforms - online sessions, and outdoor classes and we have been kept up to date with government advice. I didn't suspend my membership during COVID as the school has provided me with continued support.
