Practical Wing Chun Kungfu HQ reviews
59I just wanted to thank you for providing our son with an amazing training environment, he truly loves coming to class and it is wonderful to see him dedicated to training again.
Great environment, and the teachers are friendly, professional and share great knowledge on the philosophy and technical practice of Wing Chung. I've always wanted to learn martial arts and have just started here and so far, I'm really enjoying it.
The adult class is fun and supportive, I feel my brain and body working together to learn to focus and build skill, strength, in ways that feel embodied, grounding, rewarding. Everyone is really kind and a lot of patience too! All in all very impressed so far: D
Fantastic team, my boys have learnt so much and are happy to join every session. The confide ce they've gained since they've started to attend Practical Wing Kung Fu is priceless. Thank you to all the team!
We've been training for close to 4 months. Our Sifu Jack has an incredible skill and knowledge that inspires both my son and I. Jack is very dedicated to our learning and caters his approach in teaching us with patience and genuine care for our development.
There are multiple locations for us to attend and we have well and truely been welcomed as part of this unique and great family. I keenly look forward to us both growing in our capability.
I highly recommend Practical WIng Chun Kung Fu Academy and thank Sifu Jack.
My 2 kids (aged 6 & 7) have been with Practical Wing Chun for 9 months now and they absolutely love it! Small classes, great instructors, useful techniques at reasonable & affordable prices. All instructors are very well experienced and have great skills in communicating with young kids and patience. Highly recommended!
The instructors were very professional and friendly.
The class has helped me building up my strength.
My 3 yr old enjoyed the kid fit class too. He had so much fun running around and punching big guy
First impression: the school's atmosphere is light and welcoming. Sifu Jack, instructors, and other students are so willing to support and encourage newcomers. The classes are fun, varied, and vigorous, and students can work according to their individual capability. And I feel a bit more confident. It's great.
My kids have been to PWCfor 2 years now. All the sifu are very professional and welcoming! During covid lockdown, the kids gets unlimited kungfu lesson on zoom with their sifu. They also try their best to keep the place covid safe. I feel safe for the kids to go learn their Kungfu here. It's also easy to do make up lessons if required as they have a lot of other lesson times available. Apart from keeping the kids fit, they get to learn some self defence, discipline and manners too. During this Xmas holiday sifu also organise a lot of free member only activities to keep the kids entertained. It's a real enjoyable place for the kids to learn and have fun.
PWC is genuinely a good place to learn about martial arts. The coaches are so patient and the culture is great
My 6 years old has been going for almost 2 years and he always look forward to the training sessions. Highly recommended!
Nice and practical. I appreciate how attentive each of the coaches are with all the participants. They were very informative of why certain techniques are used for self defence, as well as why some techniques are ineffective. I really enjoyed the demonstrations given; they were both educational and entertaining. A wonderful experience. Already plan to go to the other scheduled workshops.
Our son has been learning wing chun for 2 years now. It is like a big family. My son enjoyed every lesson there.
I’ve been interacting with Master Jack Leung for a little while now. His patience and support is second to none from both himself and his team. Friendly and fun environment which feel like a family makes it easy to learn and enjoyable. I strongly recommend Practical Wing Chun to everyone either you are looking to keep fit or a craft to protect yourself. Thank you Jack and your friendly team
PWC kungfu provide flexible class options, trainers are skillful and patient. It is a useful skill for life time.
I have been learning Wing Chun for about 18 months now. I have never done any martial art previously. I go Saturday mornings and find it a fantastic way to reset after my work week. I feel more confident in my ability to protect myself and others in a physical altercation. It is a good mix of practical self defence, fitness and learning traditional fighting techniques.
Really Enjoying PWC and so happy with my decision to join. A privilege to be learning from Sifu Jack and his very friendly and talented group of instructors. Perfect learning environment with a lot of help and support from everyone. Highly recommended Practical Wing Chun Australia to everybody.
Simple but effective and useful defense lessons. Really enjoyed it. Can’t wait for the next class
Practical Wing Chun school is the best place to learn self-defence and Kung fu in Brisbane. Sifu Jack and the team are very professional, supportive and patient. I would highly recommend Practical Wing Chun to anyone interested in martial arts/Kung fu, self-defence or fitness.
It's a fun place to learn a skill related to a real life experiences each time. It's a lot to learn from each class, especially from Shifu Jack's class.
Amazing workshop! I found this through the Griffith University SRC events, and I'm so glad I signed up for free self-defence classes. The sessions are easy to understand and the instructors cover important scenarios of when self-defence can be used.
