Portside Wharf

Yellowish is great, but the wharf isn't much a wharf really now is it? The rents are probably so high to make up for running the IGA's uncomfortably cold aircon 24/7.

Taxi to P&O Aria was cheap and quick

Recently modified (smaller) vehicle traffic arwa. Cramped, not enough space for the volume of people and traffic. I guess they don't care as the new cruise terminal is proposed for development.
Would suggest for now that if you are planning a cruise, take one that is going to dock at the port of brisbane / fisherman islands terminal.

Shopping precinct itself isn’t anything to travel out of you way for as there is very few actual retail stores. That said if you’re a foodie a nice location to eat lunch overlooking the ship docked and there is ample choice of restaurants from sushi train and subway to high class dining.

Good area to check out. Expensive to buy anything like all these new places are. Worth a look, not much parking around this area.

Port side wharf has a great places to eat and drink. We arrived here for a day while on a cruise it was nice to step off the ship and was able to go for a walk around here and check out some different shops and restaurants.

This waterfront area was a very busy container wharf some years back. Streets full of trucks and machinery doing the heavy work. It would've been nice to have a couple of bars to go to for lunch. Now they do.

We love to visit here and dine when we are visiting Brisbane. Especially at Fresh N Wild seafood restaurant.

Some great shops, but a surprising number of empty shops giving the area an air of struggle. Obviously more going on than a shopper can pick up on. It's a shame. It should be flourishing as it could be terrific.

Nice place to visit as some cafes and places to eat it's where the cruise ship docks good to come down for the view even if you're not going on a cruise would highly recommend this place to anyone but be careful with the parking the parking police cardboard coppa is a nazi.

Loved Port Side. We where on a cruise so its a great place to chill before boarding. Lots of eatrys.

Nice balance of restaurants and a few shops. Has on street car parking as well as a paid car park underneath

Always enjoy my time at Portside. I love having a cocktail at Byblos or a beer at Belverdere. It is a great spot to sit up and enjoy a variety of meals. The Italian is fantastic as well and if your up for a walk, one if my favourite restaurants St James Crabhouse is just around the corner. Always happy checking out courtside.

Loved wondering around here, especially in the evening. Such a nice upbeat feel with a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, everything you need for an enjoyable night out.

Love the beer. So many to choose from and a great location to enjoy them. If only there where oysters.

Parking is soooo haaaard. The parking lot is tiny so dont go down there if you have a big car. And Friday and Saturday nights? Forget about it. Park on the street. Save yourself an hour driving around looking.

Nice port, close to the downtown area, a lot of restaurans, coffee shops and a supermarket in the port area.

I can only say that each time I cruise the staff at portside are extremely helpful.
I really enjoy the experience.

Had a Christmas party work function here; loved it.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean and looked nice and the view from the viewing deck was spectacular.

Food was okay - most were very tasty.
