Very lovely studio with a very welcoming vibe! I was travelling through and able to pick up a class with no issues at all! Would highly recommend to newbies and those with pole experience ️

I would highly recommend pole play for anyone trying to organise a hens party/night! Firstly, the girls were so accommodating since our scheduling for the hens night changed a few times, they were able to work about the different times and nothing seemed to be a bother! Secondly on the day of the hens we were greeted with bubbles and everyone just had the most amazing time, and we were laughing and enjoying ourselves the entire time, the girls were accommodating and lots of fun made everyone feel very comfortable and we were even able to pull a few beginner pole dancing moves off! Everyone said it was the highlight of the day!

We just had a small hens party at pole play and the instructors were amazing and tailored the class to be a genuinely awesome experience:)

Pole Play Studios is fantastic! So much FUN! It has been awesome learning some new styles of dance and the instructing team as well as the rest of the attendees are wonderful. I was a bit nervous to try something 'exotic' but it is honestly such a relaxed environment, with options to perform and get dressed up if you like. Wonderful for general fitness, as you are having fun so don't realise you're exercising. I would recommend to give it a go if you're unsure because that was me and now I am hooked!

I had the most wonderful experience of Jen and Sophia hosting a pole play studio class for a hens. I cannot recommend enough for patience (putting up with intoxicated hens) and fun!

Sophia and her team of teachers are professional, talented, supportive and fun and the community of dancers are welcoming and supportive of one another. We all come from different bases and grow and develop skills at our own pace with the support and expertise of Sophia and her team. Learning and practicing pole and exotic dance is the one of the most rewarding things I have done, Im loving this journey and so happy to be a part of this gorgeous community.

I organised a Burlesque dance class through Pole Play Studios for my Friends Hens night and it was fantastic! Sophia was very easy to deal with from my very first enquiry and made organising it a breeze. She was our instructor on the night and was a lot of fun. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Sophia! Our Hen had an absolute blast.

The Stretch class with Jess on Tuesday is fantastic. It’s really improved my pole moves, but it’s also great to work out the kinks from work. Jess is great and caters to all levels of experience. Highly recommend.

Just done my monthly stretch class! So good. Not a very flexible person at all but each time can slowly see the improvement, also gives me ideas of how to stretch at home! Any progress counts, thanks Jess!

Theres not enough stars to rate poleplay as i have found my lessons amazing life changing and awsome this place has the best vibes and is a place where you feel comfortable and your teachers are as excited as you are when you achive somthing.

Sophia has created such a beautiful & non-judgemental space for people to connect deeper to themselves & their bodies, to have fun & play, to embrace their sensuality, to improve their overall health & I have personally experienced soooo much healing by being in this carefully curated environment. Sophia is full of so much wisdom & has a heart of pure gold. All the staff are highly professional & all the students so kind & welcoming. I am excited for every class & it is a highlight of my week every week. I feel so much stronger, sexier & love myself a lot more since being in this class and this has had more to do with a shift in perspective rather than it being all about my physical body. Pole play is an amazing dance studio to learn pole fitness, burlesque routines, or sexy flow routines. It's a great environment to get fit, learn some dance routines or gain your sexy confidence back. (If you ever lost it ;-) ) I have done beginners 1 and beginners 2 with Shannon and I have fallen in love with pole fitness. The teachers are very kind and patient and cater to all levels. You will always feel welcomed and comfortable. The classes are for everyone I've seen male and female in the classes of all who were equally respected and welcomed. The environment feels like one big family I have made some new friends and have brought along some of my friends who I already know. I highly encourage bringing your mates its fun cheering each other on as they nail a new move. Sophia's exotic flow class has some really sexy moves which really is a great fitness workout. All the teachers are experienced, kind and fun to do classes with! They have alot of variety of classes on offer, they have some clothing in the office you can purchase, liquid chalk, knee guards to help you get started if you need. The studio has also get the best quality x-poles and is a x-pole provider so you can even buy a pole to practice moves at home. Overall 5 stars. You should totally book a class after reading this ;-) you won't regret it.

Coming from a completely non-exercise background (I.e. No previous dance experience, never did sports), i was super apprehensive of joining this class. However, Sophia, Lucy, Shannon and Jen made my experience absolutely worthwhile. They were super patient with my inflexible self and taught me amazing pole moves suited to my level. I highly recommend the private lessons with Sophia. Your time will not be wasted. Coming from someone who took pole classes at another studio in Cairns, this one went above and beyond my expectations.

I can't recommend Pole Play Studios enough. Between Sophia and all the amazing other teachers I can guarantee you will have an experience that makes you want to come back. Right away I felt comfortable even with pretty minimal dance experience. If you can push yourself to get past the discomfort of being new at something you will thank yourself later. You have no idea how much fun it is until you try it!

I’ve been coming for a few weeks now. I was super nervous as I had 0 physical skill however Sophia and Lucy have both made me feel extremely comfortable and welcome. They’ve both helped me with new skills and I can feel my confidence coming out. It is great value for money too especially if you got a class course. Every time I go Sophia teaches me a new trick and through my videos I can see myself improving every week. Sophia has even gone the extra mile and helped me with finding my first pair of pleasers too.
