Planet Arcades reviews
30Lots of lights noise and fun.decent variety of games plenty variety for younger kids. Older Teenagers may get bored though there are things for them as well. Decent pinball machine out front for us older folk.
So much fun for the family $50 worth of tokens lasted us hours. I love the new machines you've put in. The kids love collecting their tickets and saving them up.
I just wish the prizes weren't ridiculously over priced. After all it's all about the kids.
I miss the old days when they had Tekken & Street Fighter but the ticket games are great for the kids.
My family and I had a great experience at your arcade. The staff member on that day was Okhisa (sorry if not spelt correctly) and he was absolutely amazing. Nothing was a problem for him at all. If he wasn't busy serving customers he was round the shop cleaning which was nice to see. Normally at arcades I have found that the staff hate to be bothered, especially if it's in regards to a machine not working properly but Okhisa had no problems at all with helping us if we had any problems or questions. Even when it came to my young daughters trying to make up their minds on what prizes they could get. He had a friendly smile the whole time we were there. Because of his fantastic customer service and how clean he kept the shop and the good deals you have with tokens we will definitely be coming back for more family fun.
Very small arcade. Prizes are extremely expensive you can't really get anything other than candy unless you spend more than $100. Arcade runs off coins rather than a card, so you do have to carry your coins around with you and all the manual tickets.
Such a fun place to go with the family or friends. Even my 15 month old was very thrilled and fascinated with everything. My boyfriend and his friends love the racing games the most and they go in there every Thursday. Such an enjoyable experience everytime
Games are fun and gives out tickets for a bit of nostalgia, prize costs are to high, even the novelty and candy prizes.
My nearly 4yo dragged me in here today after a movie. Super loud which is kinda to be expected. She played a Water spraying zombie machine out the front and loved it. She got her $2 worth of joy from it.
I was surprised when tickets started coming out of the machine as I'd forgotten how these places work.
We took her 23 tickets to the counter, then had to take them to another machine to redeem them, then went back to the counter and she managed to buy 2 lollies.
I can see parents getting caught spending a lot of money here. You need a whole lot of tickets to get anything even remotely decent.
For us, we were happy with the unicorn fizz lolly as it was just a bonus and we weren't expecting tickets.
Service was average but the smile on my daughters face showed she thought it was pretty COOL.
It's an arcade with some good machines for all ages of 'kids' however if you are after getting something worthwhile after collecting tickets, be prepared not to look at cash you have spent. However, if you look at enjoying the games from the indoor bowling machines and the basket ball styled games to the arcade driving games and jurassic world shooter then maybe you will forget the actual cost and any tickets are a bonus.
The staff have always been pleasant and helpful. It would be nice to see some new arcade machines or at least some updated ones but otherwise it's a place for a nice little break from mall below.
The arcade is near to the cinema and ten pin bowling alley at the top of the escalator
Tried the new north lakes arcade. Waited 5 mins at counter which was fine but staff looked out of office on phone and went back into office, continued waiting. Finally got served and played games. Person disappeared whilst serving us then came back and continued to serve someone else, meanwhile we are still waiting and the line is growing.another person started to serve us but said she couldnt because they only had 1 prize scanner so we had to continue waiting. We spent double the time waiting than we did playing games and both times were first in line.you really need a better system!
