One of the best burgers and chips in the whole surfers. The staff is really friendly. You can get everything you want. Totally loved it. Highly recommended.

Visited the store today morning and the services were really remarkable and the staff was really cooperative and hospitable. They greeted me with a wide grin. Really advice to visit once.

Fantastic service the ladies serve you with a smile which compliments the great fresh tasty food at reasonable prices. But most of all is better than I explained the service is better to none.

Whenever i get hungry riding train from Brisbane to Gold Coast I would always stop here, I have been here lots of times they have such good food specially the sausage and burgers it’s a 10/10, also the staff is very cooperative well trained and very respectful!

About 3 times I've gone in there to buy stuff and all 3 times person behind the counter tried to upcharge $ on items, if I wasn't on too it they would've got away with overcharging so make sure you keep an eye on your change and price of products.also no breakfast burgers at breakfast (slack) organisaty.

I would like to leave a 10 star review if I could but unfortunately only limited to 5. Looks like the owners have relied too much on staff but now they have taken the command again. Heaps of specials when I walked in today and the owners served us really good. Great food and taste fresh food. All in one a great place to buy literally everything.

I came in today 03/02/2023 to buy a triple shot Ice Break coffee, and payed $5.50 to then walk outside and have a sip and it being the most sour milk i’ve EVER HAD! IT WAS BEST BEFORE 15/01/2023 ALMOST 1 MONTH OUT OF DATE! Only for the check out lady to respond with “oh sorry grab another one” this is horrible especially coming from someone who works in hospitality, ROTATE YOUR PRODUCTS AND MANGE YOUR STORE! This is disgusting and will be reported!

Grill was off at dinner. They couldn’t seem to give me a clear answer. Bought a large chips and it was barely a small serve. I’ve been there many times in the past and was always extremely happy. Something has clearly changed in the last year or so.

Somethings going on here, because the staff are unbearably rude. Is the owner looking after them or is he training them not to smile, say hello, literally the opposite of service.
A huge contrast from the bottle shop next door. Those guys are legends.
NGL I have acquaintances that said the same thing weeks before I wrote this review.
They don’t even say hello. They just scan your stuff & say the number. Sucks because I’ve been a local here for 10+ years. They’re super unfriendly is an understatement. It’s really bad.
Also the meal preps: I bought one and the expiry date was OK, however I don’t reckon it was kept cold enough, still full price and I would have been sick if I ate that, slimy.
The only bloke that’s decent here is the boy occasionally wears a hat, longish hair. Give him a raise.

Went to this place for breakfast when the V8s where on food was very fresh and good, Would recommend going here if you and down this way!

All fresh food I bought was rotting. Dirty. Needs to be closed down. Owner needs to try something new,

Terrible undercooked food, staff are not interested in you. They are always on the phone talking to someone via their Bluetooth hands free. And food is always undercooked where I throw half of it out and spit it out in fear of falling sick from undercooked chicken.
Someone needs to hall the health department on this place!

You know who's at fault! I've been there multiple times and thought each time I've been there maybe it's better now. Nope! Every bloody time. Your Indian girls are the same ones who work there. The only one who cares about the food is the young fella with long brown hair! Clean your act up and stop trying to blame it on your staff. It's clearly your fault because they have no idea how to cook yet you hired them!

I am local to this store and every time I go there the staff are really rude and make you wait sometimes over 10 minutes just to pay for milk while they stand there and just talk while looking at you there is never a sorry I will be a few minutes instead you just get ignored

I have been coming to this store for 25 years BUT WILL NO MORE! The new owners, in-particular the young lady, are rude, mean, ill-mannered and have no concept of goodwill or how business in Australia is done. That woman called me a liar, would not give me a bag and then started yelling when I told her she has ruined this business. Food is now horrible, I had the worst steak sandwich ever, and the prices are now way too high. DO NOT SHOP HERE as they do not deserve local traffic and the sooner they sell the store the better for ALL the locals. Old owners were FANTASTIC but new owners get a 1/10 stars and are a total fail, they are an embracement to the local community.

Staff were extremely rude. Did not say hi, thank you or even smile. Asked for chicken salt on my chips to arrive home and not have any salt at all. Took them back and asked nicely for chicken salt to be added for the staff member at the back to raise her voice and say I didn’t ask for chicken salt on my chips when I definitely did and had someone with me who confirmed I asked for it. Even if I had not, the staff should be asking customers if they want salt on their chips. We have been coming here for 20 years and the change of ownership has ruined the place. The staff are appalling.

I'm from sydney and have been coming to this store while on holidays for 40years! They have everything reasonably priced nice staff here handy location all good! So when I stay @ shore apartment again which is directly behind will certainly come back!

Food products are NOT CLEAN.staff move from cash register to food, No washing hands, No gloves, handling food /till constantly, I watched for 10min, 9am 15/12/20.it was constant cross contamination at it's worst!

Just ordered a small chips pay close to $5 and I get home and the box is half empty. My food was expensive and I got half a box of chips

Absolutely the best for lunches and dinners. Beautiful chicken crepes, chicken wings, potato salad, great sandwiches and a good stock of all supermarket lines. We love this store
